5 Dead In Illinois Shooting, Including At Least One Child

Five people were shot to death in a home in Manchester, IL.

WLDS quotes Winchester police as saying that a suspect is in custody. The radio station also reported that the suspect, who was on the run for two hours, was captured following a high-speed chase and exchange of gunfire. The suspect has been hospitalized.

The pastor of Manchester Baptist Church tells KSDK-TV that the shootings took place inside a public housing complex. At least one of the victims is a child, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department.
