Deaths In Terrorist Attacks Pale In Comparison To Other Fatalities

Chris Hayes posted the above chart on his Facebook page.  As one can see, even including the horrible events of 9-11, terrorism was a much smaller cause of US deaths than either workplace hazards or guns between 2000 and 2010.  And even if one looks just at the events of last week, the first column would include the three fatalities in Boston the second at least the 14 in West, Texas, and the last, a much larger number than either.
