A Look At A Romney Cabinet — Bush’s Third Term
Politico has an analysis of the likely Cabinet selections for a President Romney, and it’s composed almost entirely of Washington insiders who were veterans of the George W. Bush administration.
Mitt Romney said his Cabinet and White House staff will be stacked with men and women from the business world, but his top advisers sketched out for POLITICO a team composed of many familiar faces in Washington.
Already on the inside track: several veterans of George W. Bush’s administration and a number of women — but not necessarily a single Democrat.
With names like Rob Portman, Mike Leavitt, and Robert Zoellick, a Romney cabinet would have a very Washington insider flavor. Keep that in mind this week when he and Rep. Ryan complain about Washington and pledge to change things.
