Election commish calls Trump’s bluff on imaginary ‘voter fraud’
Our only question: what took her so long?
Click here for reuse options! An FEC commissioner repeated her demand Tuesday that the White House provide proof for its claims that thousands of people were bused from Massachusetts into New Hampshire to vote illegally in the 2016 election.
The President of the United States has, without providing evidence, alleged a massive conspiracy to bus thousands of voters from one state to another to cast illegal votes in the 2016 elections, commissioner Ellen Weintraub wrote in a statement posted online Tuesday.
The commissioner made a similar demand for proof:
“Any such allegation challenging the legitimacy of federal elections would be of great concern to me, Weintraub continued. As it happens, this particular allegation falls squarely within the jurisdiction of the Federal Election Commission, since the expense of these buses has not been accounted for on any campaign-finance filing. Accordingly, I have asked the President for his evidence.”
On Feb. 9, Trump reportedly told a closed-door meeting of senators that thousands of people who were brought in on buses from Massachusetts voted illegally in New Hampshire, costing him the states electoral votes, and former Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) her job.

Stop trying to fight on his terms … file suit in federal court demanding the president release the information or stfu. He’s endangering the fair election process.

Ask for proof first to avoid the messy courtroom scene and THEN file suit if necessary. Jumping too quickly to the ultimate threat is only playing by der Trumpfenfuhrer’s rules. To borrow a phrase from TR – “Walk softly but carry a big stick”. Lewandowski admitted that there was no proof for the claim but our thin skinned man/child in the Oval Office has yet to respond.

There is no proof or any one of the 55 FEC Commissioners would have been duty bound to report it. This is the 2 new request, Trump thinks he can play fast and loose with the truth, get him on record, under oath somehow, and he will lie … guaranteed

He is unable to separate truth from fiction and should be removed for simple incompetency.

why not file suit for knowingly providing false information about a US Government Agency?
if he can’t provide evidence, then you’ve got EVEN MORE grounds for impeachment
