‘No Hate, No Fear’: Thousands Protest Trump At Mar-a-Lago (VIDEO)

Last night, an estimated 3000 protesters crashed snowflake – er, snowbird – Trump’s weekend vacation at his winter getaway, Mar-a-Lago. Many carried signs and joined in chants like “no hate, no fear,” referring to Trump’s illegal travel ban of Muslims trying to enter the U.S. Watch: On the surface, Trump dismisses such protests with Tweets like…

Nice tweet from the fuzz on things being peaceful.

I don’t care for this kind of protest. I remember back in 2004 some woman whose name I forget went to Bush’s brush ranch in Texas. Others showed up and they kept it going a while, though they were kept back a ways from the ranch. I liked what they were saying, but never felt that comfortable about it. I think the private homes of public figures should be off limits. I came to that conclusion after considering whether I would be sanguine about a bunch of right-wingers outside wherever the Obamas were staying on vacation.

I’m not saying there ought to be a law banning such protests. I just think it is tacky and unnecessary, given the many other opportunities to protest elsewhere.
I can’t recall specifics, but there have been a few other protests at the private homes of public officials in the Washington, D.C. area. I think people should be able to get away from it and their neighbors should not be imposed on in this fashion….

Mar-a Lago is a resort. The Trumps have a private residence but the rest is a club and a hotel. It’s not a private residence. It is owned and operated as a business by the so called Orange in Chief.
