Is Trump green-lighting white supremacist terrorism in the USA?
It’s a fair question:
The Trump administration wants to revamp and rename a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies so that it focuses solely on Islamist extremism, five people briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The program, “Countering Violent Extremism,” or CVE, would be changed to “Countering Islamic Extremism” or “Countering Radical Islamic Extremism,” the sources said, and would no longer target groups such as white supremacists who have also carried out bombings and shootings in the United States.
Such a change would reflect Trump’s election campaign rhetoric and criticism of former President Barack Obama for being weak in the fight against Islamic State and for refusing to use the phrase “radical Islam” in describing it. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for attacks on civilians in several countries.
The CVE program aims to deter groups or potential lone attackers through community partnerships and educational programs or counter-messaging campaigns in cooperation with companies such as Google and Facebook.
Some proponents of the program fear that rebranding it could make it more difficult for the government to work with Muslims already hesitant to trust the new administration, particularly after Trump issued an executive order last Friday temporarily blocking travel to the United States from seven predominantly Muslim countries.

Just in the past two years, authorities blamed radical and violent ideologies as the motives for a white supremacist’s shooting rampage inside a historic African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina and Islamist militants for shootings and bombings in California, Florida and New York.

The racist right is erupting with rage against federal judges who have blocked President Trump’s executive order temporarily banning Muslims from seven countries and barring Syrian refugees.
Andrew Anglin, publisher of the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer, a prominent clearinghouse of racist “Alt-Right” editorials and memes, called for the military to arrest “treasonous” U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly in Manhattan for “trying to flood America with terrorists” and has called for martial law if other judges follow suit.
“We have a problem,” Anglin wrote over the weekend. “Trump needs to arrest this woman immediately and have her charged with treason. If other judges protest, he needs to declare martial law and have them all rounded up and interned. We are at war here. This isn’t a game.”
Anglin stopped short of threatening Donnolly directly, but in an update, he called for Trump to deploy the “National Guard to the protest sites” at airports across the country and “shut them down completely.”
Such posturing isn’t new for Anglin, or for that matter, unexpected.

Denzel Washington said it best, paraphrasing, “it’s not about the truth anymore with the media, it’s about, who can get it out first. it doesn’t matter if it’s a fact, it’s who can get the info out first w/o verifying if it’s true.” that was addressed to him because it went out in the media that he was supporting *45 when it was a lie.
fox put that lie that it was a Muslim, w/o verification. it’s was assumed. and in this case, that assumption proved to have made them out of an ass!

American businesses are not going to like this. This is going to destabilize America creating chaos and uncertainty. If it goes on for very long the stock market could lose over half it’s value. Our economy and wealth is grounded in stability, take that away and it loses value fast. Now would be a good time to get out of the stock market, sell high. Wait for a new administration that is stable and buy back in when everything is low.
