Loser: Trump rattled by popular vote defeat
Real estate mogul Donald Trump has not been able to come to terms with the fact that he got nearly three million less votes than Hillary Clinton. He realizes he has no mandate, and it’s eating at him:
Trump is still upset he lost the popular vote.
“What’s going on with voter fraud is horrible. That’s number one. Number two, I would’ve won the popular vote if I was campaigning for the popular vote. I would’ve gone to California where I didn’t go at all. I would’ve gone to New York where I didn’t campaign at all.
I would’ve gone to a couple of places that I didn’t go to. And I would’ve won that much easier than winning the electoral college. But as you know, the electoral college is all that matters. It doesn’t make any difference. So, I would’ve won very, very easily. But it’s a different form of winning. You would campaign much differently. You would have a totally different campaign . . . I would’ve easily won the popular vote, much easier, in my opinion, than winning the electoral college. I ended up going to 19 different states. I went to the state of Maine four times for one. I needed one.”
This sore spot isn’t going away…
[D]uring a reception with lawmakers from both parties Monday night, he repeated his false assertion that millions of illegal immigrants provided Hillary Clinton’s margin in the popular vote.
It’s not the first time that Trump, who is known to be both thin-skinned and dedicated to polishing his public image, has become fixated on details that challenge his success.
… and remains an Achilles heel that his political opponents and the press are likely to exploit.

The guy is psychologically incompetent to run the country. He is a national security threat, he needs to be removed soon through Article 25 before something very bad happens to our country.
This is all on you GOP if you don’t do something soon and let something bad happen to the country. We will never forgive you. You will live in infamy.

He seems to be concerned only with things that don’t matter. Why is he spending so much time on his phone sending out stupid tweets? Presidents shouldn’t have time for inconsequential sh*t. And the fact that he doesn’t get that proves what you said, that he is totally incompetent for the job he spent so much time and effort to get.

I’m pretty sure “concerned only with things that don’t matter” is the more desirable status, compared with what he could be doing.
The longer he spends being “concerned only with things that don’t matter”, the further back the collapse of your nation gets pushed, and the greater the chance of him being impeached before it reaches that point.

He won’t be impeached, they will remove him with Article 25. Impeachment would be bad for the GOP. Article 25 does not necessarily hurt the GOP that much. They can say he became mentally/psychologically unfit after taking office and it’s not their fault. Impeachment would imply they are partly to blame. They have to act soon though for that to work. The longer this goes on while he is obviously unfit, the more blame there will be on the GOP for not doing anything.

The assumption being,
that the republican party actually (and still) gives a sh*t
about the country, their party and their constituents (?)

They will act, it is a matter of self preservation. It has nothing to do with how loyal they are to the country. If they want to retain any power they will have to eliminate tRump before he obliterates the GOP reputation.

The GOP realized that the majority of American voters are unable to remember more than 3 months. That is why they continually tried to repeal the ACA and investigate Clinton Emails

I believe you’re referring to the 25th Amendment. I think it will get to the point where they have little choice. It will not be to save America but to save themselves.

Same thing. I have heard both terms used. I guess I like ‘Article 25’ better because it’s easier to type.

USA’s most corrupt party GOP won’t impeach DT45 and repubs would prevail in the (D) 48 Senate vs (R) 52 never losing a DT senate trial, requiring 67 votes for U.S. Senate conviction.

It is really getting scary…especially if you start looking at what the foreign powers are talking about…we are on the verge of isolation by our own allies…and China is stepping into the power vacuum…this is ALL on the GOP…trump is unfit for office, and ryan and mcconnell KNOWS this already…they are milking this for their own purposes…and like you say, this is ON all on them….

Trump has all too evidently been long shielded from direct control of anything by managers and spin-meisters, and of course his family. Now he’s out in public, with evident dementia on display. Anyone in the GOP who dealt with him directly had to see it.

it will be a fine time watching the egomaniac drool himself into a state of misery.

“I would’ve gone to New York where I didn’t campaign at all.”-Donnie’s room temp IQ forgets his campaigning at Trump Tower, and his escalator launch with PAID actor-fans. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/3f127cb6e57f9cae4ba28d24297ec51fbfe3986017c4d20f287c69c01598bbea.jpg

But, but, what are the alternative facts.
Mensa Member January 26th, 2017 at 09:42
We may b seeing the limits of Trump “genius” in manipulating his followers.
The smart moved is to do what GW Bush did: claim a “mandate” and glory in your victory.
But Trump could be laying the groundwork for further voter suppression.
Obewon January 26th, 2017 at 10:04
DT has no mandate, 46% voted Trump, 48% voted HRC. Donnies 37% approval, already crumbled from his 46% KGB vote share.
Budda January 26th, 2017 at 17:07
We know that…but he/they don’t
Tommie January 26th, 2017 at 10:30
Trump is pissed that there were not as many racist Whites as in the past! Haha!
Foundryman January 26th, 2017 at 10:40
I found it interesting that when he said “All 5 million illegal voters voted against him”, instead of asking him how he knows this and who told him and where he got this information, the reporter sat there and said nothing, just went to the next question.
Unless and until the media holds him accountable, he will continue tearing down the bedrock of this country.
Perhaps next time, ABC should just go straight to InfoWars and bypass Trump.

So the orange guy who is throwing a week long tantrum over his popular vote loss is going to defeat ISIS. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/bec00bd274bdef16471890779ff1fc42aa07bc28e54c071bea76b96f2aa595f9.jpg

“I would’ve gone to California where I didn’t go at all.”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it in California where Trump’s* “African American” turned up?
“There’s my African American!”
I believe it was Sacramento or Redding.
Budda January 26th, 2017 at 17:05
He must have felt ‘special’.

Got to keep beating that drum, this will keep him in a lather and will show his supporters the real fool he is
