Spicer turns presser into hotel promo
This is the way it’s going to be, it seems.
Click here for reuse options!During a pre-inauguration news conference on Thursday, Sean Spicer, President-elect Donald Trump’s soon-to-be press secretary, dismissed concerns his boss is using the power of the presidency to promote his Washington, D.C. hotel and thereby line his pockets.
With regard to Trump’s decision to dine at the hotel’s restaurant on Wednesday night — Trump also reportedly plans to eat there Thursday — Spicer said, “I think that’s pretty smart.”
“I think the idea that he’s going to his own hotel shouldn’t be a shocker,” Spicer continued. “It’s a beautiful place, it’s somewhere that he’s very proud of and I think it’s symbolic of the kind of government that he’s going to run.”
Spicer went on to encourage people to check out the place for themselves.
“It’s an absolutely stunning hotel. I encourage you to go there if you haven’t been by,” he said.

Using the power of the presidency to promote his ILLEGALLY owned Washington, D.C. hotel and thereby line his pockets. Ka-Ching~! I wouldn’t stay at the Dump Hotel if they paid me. I damn sure wouldn’t stay there at the rates they charge.

Why stay at a hotel that you have to pay out of the nose for AND bring your own sheets? You sleep on those hotel sheets and you are guaranteed to have the smell of rump pee in the air whether he peed on them or not.

99% of tRump’s base couldn’t afford a souvenir mint from the gift shop.
Mark Bub January 19th, 2017 at 23:51
Trump wouldn’t allow 99% of his base in any of his hotels anyways so not being able to afford a mint is a moot point.

“Oh, and by the way, the neckties that I’ll be wearing during every press briefing … yep, Trump Ties.
You can buy a dozen just like them. Operators are standing by.”
