Panetta: ‘I’ve never seen anything like this in my lifetime’

Posted by | January 6, 2017 16:11 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Former CIA head Leon Panetta says Trump’s criticism of intelligence should be done privately.

“The fact that the president-elect is tweeting on this issue and taking it to the public, and in many ways undermining the credibility of the very intelligence agencies that have to provide information to him in order for him to be president of the United States, this is just unheard of and unprecedented,” he told Matt. “I think we all have to be concerned about this. This is not the kind of bickering that ought to be going on in public.”

A day before his highly-publicized briefing Friday with all the major U.S. intelligence agencies on Russia’s interference in the presidential election, Trump tweeted a series of posts disparaging their work.

In one tweet, he suggested that “the ‘Intelligence’ briefing on so-called ‘Russian hacking'” was delayed until Friday because the team “perhaps more time needed to build a case.”

I agree with Jim Philips (Philips Phile, i♥Radio WTKS104.1) on this one; “Don’t mess with the CIA; they’ll cut you six ways to Sunday”.

I think it would be quite fitting if the CIA engineered a “leak” of Dear Leader’s tax returns. I would hazard a guess that getting a copy of those returns would be child’s play for the CIA.

Trump worshipers should have nothing to complain about. After all, their talking point has been that if the leaked emails contain information that is accurate, the public deserves to know. What’s the problem?

So if the leaked returns are shown to be accurate, what would be the problem?

This is what has driven me crazy for a year now. Why the hell hasn’t someone gotten into the IRS website and leaked all of his tax returns? WTF?

Or maybe there is a senior operative deep in the basement at Langley who already has the material on a thumb drive, thinking, keep it up a$$hole. You are really going to regret f*cking with us….

Da followerz would scream “FAKE NOOOZ!!!”, and the pundits would lose themselves in arguments about what sources to trust (totally unaware of the irony).

All they have to do is sign the leak “Anonymous.” Anybody can join Anonymous. Just say you’re part of Anonymous.

Hell, it’d give Anonymous a little more cred.

When Trump’s boy Roger Stone accused the CIA director of being a Saudi mole I immediately began to consider the possibility that Trump is in fact a paid agent of Vlad Putin with the mission of destroying the United States.

Because if it’s one thing we know about republicans it’s that when they are vulnerable on a certain subject the very first thing they do is accuse the opposition of being guilty on that same subject.

That’s just basic Karl Rove strategy.

Only Putin’s kids can do accidents better than the CIA and friends. And they are all pretty good at covering their bases after…unless certain details are leaked out.

What’s really funny is all the right-wing internet weenies who think we should “get over” Trump winning the election. Apparently they’re unaware that the Crapocalpse begins in earnest Jan 20 and I for one plan to keep crapping on Trump for as long as he stays in office.

They never-ever got over a black man winning the election.

      And he won honestly.
