Conservative radio host caught in lie that Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang for Obama
Not a good moment for Ben Ferguson.
Click here for reuse options!“Was the choir endorsing abortion when they sang when Barack Obama was inaugurated?” Ferguson asked. “Because he’s in favor of abortion? I think that would be something, obviously, she just stepped out from if she’s going to claim this holy high ground now. This is nothing but a grandstanding individual who doesn’t get her way so she says I’m going walk away. There are 360 people in the choir. Not all are going to be traveling. More importantly than that when it comes to religion you would think she may actually want to have influence over people that are about to run the government and have peace and harmony which is what the Tabernacle Choir claims to be about. This is nothing but self-righteous grandstanding from a crybaby who never grew up. And guess what? Not everyone believes everything you believe in.”
There’s just one problem with Ferguson’s scathing hit job on Chamberlin, she never sang for Barack Obama’s inauguration. In fact, no one in her choir did because the Mormon Tabernacle Choir didn’t sing at Obama’s inauguration.
A quick google search would confirm this, but it was CNN host Kate Bolduan who had to tell Ferguson that the choir released a statement saying it never happened.
Ferguson’s response to the news was simply, “Well, there you go.”

The Democrats should throw a going away party for Obama and invite the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I bet a whole bunch of A-list performers would show up also. It would be nice to see a party for Obama, bigger and better than for the orange one … just because, somebody needs to be ‘trumped’.

…tRump lies/fake news. This is normal ? Get used to it ?
Isn’t it about time that the left wing gets it’s own version of Fox news ?

Haven’t you heard of the Clinton News Network? Just ask any Fox troll about it.

Well, there ya go. Another republican mouthpiece caught in another lie. Sun comes up, republican lies, nothing to see here. More proof that facts have a liberal bias.

How many of this commentators listeners are going to Google the information of whether MTC preformed at President Obama’s Inauguration? We know it, but they will never question what they hear when it comes from one of their fellow conservatives.

This is why Trump continues to indignantly criticize CNN and MSNBC. They are more likely to call out the BS so frequently espoused by conservative pundits than are the “fair and balanced” propagandists working at FOX News.

“Well, there you go.”
Uh, no. Did you really think you could come on tv, make up an outrageous claim and just wave it off? You just slandered a woman, ffs.

FOX should be banned or sued from existence for misleading the public, if any other network lied as much, they would but, FOX gets a blank check on behavior because they are a republican tool, they are granted leeway no forthright news outlet would be allowed. The country wouldn’t be in the mess it’s in if the news was accountable for the truth……..and FOX and many others would be out of business. They can’t exist without twisting or making things up.

For rhe GOP there is no lie too outrageous or brazenly flagrant that when they are called out on it they can just shrug off and move onto the next lie
