Trump sheriff still calling for ‘pitchforks and torches’ against ‘subversive progressives’

Posted by | December 14, 2016 14:25 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

David Clarke is contemptuous of liberals.

At a post-election victory rally in Wisconsin yesterday, President-elect Donald Trump once again invited Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke to rile up the crowd. Clarke, who declared at a Trump campaign rally in October that it was “pitchfork and torches time in America,” repeated his call to the victorious crowd yesterday, saying that they should have their “pitchforks and torches ready” to help Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence “push back” against the “subversive” progressive movement.

Calling mainstream media outlets like The New York Times and the Washington Post a “fake news network,” Clarke dismissed intelligence findings about Russia’s interference in the election and declared that Congress should instead investigate what he claimed was philanthropist George Soros’ funding of riots after the election.

Hey, Sheriff Dave; take a look at your master’s cabinet picks, his transition team…notice anything?

    Get used to that, token.

Tell that to Dr. Ben Carson while you are at it. You are obsessed with race.

    • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 18:40

      People are picked by ability.

      • Mensa Member December 14th, 2016 at 18:44

        >>People are picked by ability.

Oh, dude! My stomach hurts from the laughing.

        • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 19:03

          They are, of course.

Do you actually believe that a successful businessman, in decades of practice, would NOT pick people by their ability to perform well? How can you even imagine such a thing?

        • Hirightnow December 14th, 2016 at 20:02

It’s why he’s still here; for the absurdity of his posts; I figure everyone can use a good laugh.

          • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:02

That is an excuse not to offer any cogent rebuttals.

            • Hirightnow December 14th, 2016 at 22:18

Why offer cogent rebuttals (though I have) when all you seem to know how to do is backtrack, change the subject, or go off on tangents?
Seriously, replying to you is like playing chess with a pigeon.

              • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:50

I am on task. You are doing it again.

          • oldfart December 15th, 2016 at 10:05

            He’s not your average tRumpanze.
            I’ll give him that much.

      • Suzanne McFly December 14th, 2016 at 18:58

Show me one of his picks having any sort of an ability needed to fit the title they will now hold. Don’t worry, I am not holding my breath.

        • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 19:04

Look at the choices. Quite simple. Better a CEO with PROVEN ability in the REAL WORLD than some kind of “career politician” whose primary goal is to stay in GOVERNMENT.

          • Hirightnow December 14th, 2016 at 20:00

No, better a politician with proven abilities than a CEO with no ideal how to perform the office.
That you have no trust in politicians, who are admittedly self-serving at times, yet put your faith in a CEO, who has to be self-serving by nature, is interesting; seems like you just can’t believe some people love their country, and aren’t always in it for the money… projecting? (Liars always believe others are lying, angry people always believe others are driven by anger…),
BTW, they’re all politicians now, just like Fox and Breitbart are “main-stream media”; you can’t have it both ways.

            • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:03

Your anti-free market ideology is showing.

              • Hirightnow December 14th, 2016 at 22:16

Show me the words “free market” in the Constitution (as if that had jack to do with what I posted). Your constant excuses for this man and his laughable attempts at being Putin Jr. are getting tiresome. Read a book.

                • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:49

Donald J. Trump is his own man. That is why he is so hated by some.

          • Suzanne McFly December 14th, 2016 at 21:59

So that makes as much sense as putting a Dairy Queen cashier in charge of a bank because they can count money. You need to have knowledge of how to work within the government, in our Congress, you have to compromise to get things passed. It is called compromise and these golden parachuted CEO’s hardly know anything about real-world experience.

            • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:04

It is more than “counting money.” I suspect you are an anti-capitalist.

              • Suzanne McFly December 14th, 2016 at 22:08

WTF are you talking about. Should I have a crack head read your posts and translate them for me?

I wouldn’t hire the worlds best economist to perform surgery, nor would I hire a man who has no inkling as to the purpose of an agency to run said agency, no matter how many companies he’s been in charge of.

            • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:51

He has international experience, experience without worrying about a political future or advancement in a GOVERNMENT bureaucracy.

It says much about a person to give up millions – TENS of millions – in income to SERVE his country.

              • Hirightnow December 15th, 2016 at 04:48

You’re a gullible fool. Most Trump voters are.

              • whatthe46 December 15th, 2016 at 06:09

a new born baby died in his jail because they refuse to get the mother help while in labor. another woman died in his jail when they refused to help her when she went into a diabetic shock. a man died in his jail because they refused him water. i don’t give a damn about why he chose to refuse an appointment, he’s a low down bastard that doesn’t give a damn about anyone, except remaining in power. it’s typical you would praise anyone on tRumps side w/o knowing a damn thing about them. and even with this information, you still would support him. says a lot about why you’re just a mouth piece when you spew your religious babble.

Another one from the radical alt-right who hates liberals similar to how 1930s Germany hated the Jewish people.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the first extreme right-wing superpower.

No, it is an administration that will not capitulate to Political Correctness.

      • Suzanne McFly December 14th, 2016 at 18:57

How in the hell does this article have anything to do with capitulating to political correctness? Did you watch fox “news” and hear them use a new term and you figured you could try out those fancy words on your own now?

        • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 19:05

David Clark is the epitome of anti-PC.

          • Suzanne McFly December 14th, 2016 at 22:02

And where will they get him beyond where he is now? Maybe Sheriff Arpaio will hire him to do his next round of investigations for President Obama’s birth certificate.

            • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:05

Sheriff Arpaio is an American hero.

Donald J. Trump won the election. By quite a few electoral votes!

                  • Suzanne McFly December 15th, 2016 at 09:16

And lost by 3 million PV. Put that in your pipe sparky.

Hillary got more votes than any white male president in history. That really chaps their butts.

It would be interesting if we eliminated the votes of illegals and people living off welfare. And eliminated the college students and 18-27 year olds who are sponging off their parents.

Do you think that THEY voted for Trump? LOL!

                    • Suzanne McFly December 16th, 2016 at 10:00

Illegals voted? Please provide the proof of that line of BS. How un-American of you to deny people the right to vote simply because they are smarter than you. Seems like someone is upset they couldn’t go to college, maybe if you weren’t such a DB, mommy and daddy would of let you stay home for a bit.

                    • RightThinkingOne December 26th, 2016 at 23:28

              • Hirightnow December 14th, 2016 at 22:24

                Sheriff Arpaio deserves the gallows.

                • RightThinkingOne December 14th, 2016 at 22:51

Sheriff Arpaio is a hero. He stood up to the onslaught by the federal government, the appeasing and craven coward Obama.
