Trump and RNC worried electors may go wobbly
Click here for reuse options! The Republican National Committee is overseeing an expansive whip operation designed to lock down Donald Trump’s Electoral College majority and ensure that the 306 Republican electors cast their votes for the president-elect.
Two RNC sources familiar with the effort said the committee — with the assistance of state Republican parties and the Trump campaign — have been in touch with most of the GOP electors multiple times, and has concluded that only one is a risk to cast a vote against Trump on Dec. 19, when the Electoral College meets.

If the electors followed the popular vote and give the true winner her title, you would hear a huge sigh across the world. I bet the loudest sigh would come from rump himself.

Hillary won California by 4.8M votes. The rest of the country overwhelmingly went for Trump. And Trump never once campaigned in California or spent any money because he was playing the game by the rules that everyone understood. I realize your “true winner” tale is a coping mechanism for you, but eventually you will need to leave the house and face reality. Good luck with that.

Clinton won both coasts where most people live and trump took the central and south states and half of those were won by small margins hardly overwhelming so get it straight and give the BS a rest..

The largest percentage of Educated and knowledgeable People live on the Coastal Areas. In lying and Southern States have have the Lowest education and knowledge Levels. Therefore,T. Rump’s win (?) makes sense.

he had the lowest popular vote with such a large percentage loss in history. and his EC votes were nothing close to a landslide.

His so called ” Landslide ” is the 10TH. LOWEST Electoral College % vote in History, IF He gets all of the 306 votes.

Hillary only won California in your world? Math must be hard, I am facing reality and I know what rump will do to the country I love. Too bad we have to deal with tools such as yourself who believe just claiming devotion to this country makes your a patriot.

The Original Just Me December 14th, 2016 at 12:00
But, T. Rump wants access to ALL of those Young Girlie Interns, And the Bed Rooms of the White House. LOL
The Original Just Me December 14th, 2016 at 11:58
Very Possible, but the OUTCRY from the Retardicans would be deafening. At this point in time, Yes Hillary is the best and should be, BUT Any other Republican would be more acceptable than T. Rump.

If I was an elector and was going to defect, I wouldn’t tell anybody any thing about what I was going to do. I would just do it. Country over party.
Evan Strong December 13th, 2016 at 22:15
It’s probably a good time for rehab. You’re getting delusional. Nothing is going to happen no matter how hard you wish for it. One Republican weirdo (Suprun), who it also turns out was an Ashley Madison client when he was married with 3 kids and bankrupt, is a complete outlier. The rest are locked down party loyalists.
mea_mark December 14th, 2016 at 08:09
Yup, party before country, it is why our country is failing and about to fall. I hope we do better next time, if we don’t end up a colony of Russia.

Okay, If YOU say so. You are the Authority .

I wouldn’t trust T. Rump with the Nuclear Football any more than I would trust Him with a Football with Hair on it.
