The Breitbart News Network has long prided itself on running inflammatory articles designed to trigger sensitive liberals. But since the election of Donald Trump, the conservative media company has also managed to trigger some of its advertisers, which have yanked their ads from the irreverent site in objection to its content.       Interesting…but Pravda had no competitors (aside from some pirate radio and the rumor mill), whereas today’s interconnected world features, if anything, too many sources of information.
      THAT, I think, is the problem; people can get all the information they want, but a lot of them only want the information they want to hear. The web caters to that need.
      It’s sorta like sending a 5 year old on his own to a salad bar; lots of healthy choices, but the kid’s gonna fill his bowl with pineapple and cherries.

    The very fact that “some advertisers” don’t know…
    People sending them screen shots…

    This could be much more effective than boycotting.
    Boasting of 45 million readers is only a gimmick for getting advertisers in the first place.
    There is no solid proof that advertisers see any real specific net gains from their ads on any sites.There is however solid proof that viewers of the breitbart site are batsh*t crazy deplorables who are more than willing to send death threats to Kellogg’s.

    People have taken analogies and run with them before, but I don’t believe anyone has ever taken an analogy I’ve put forth, run with it, escaped three tackles, scored a touchdown, and then kissed a cheerleader and sped off in a Corvette with her…until now.
