Hospitals warn Trump Obamcare repeal would cause ‘unprecedented public health crisis’
It won’t be pretty, and let’s hope that message gets to Trump and the Republican Congress.
Click here for reuse options! The nation’s hospital industry warned President-elect Donald Trump and congressional leaders on Tuesday that repealing the Affordable Care Act could cost hospitals $165 billion by the middle of the next decade and trigger “an unprecedented public health crisis.”
The two main trade groups for U.S. hospitals dispatched a letter to the incoming president and Capitol Hill’s top four leaders, saying that the government should help hospitals avoid massive financial losses if the law is rescinded in a way that causes a surge of uninsured patients.

As if. We’ve been watching the Hallmark channel and they have a series of ads about caring, showing random acts of kindness and what a positive thing it is to care. Every time I see one I think that the Repubs are the polar opposite. They don’t care about anyone outside of their tribe and don’t show any signs of empathy. The cost might make an impression on their avaricious little hearts, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Exactly, if they cared they would be willing to work together to make it better!

Let’s hope for “sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows” because wishing is bound to make it happen.

What really makes me puke, is they claim to be the party of “Christian moral values”. That’s pretty sad. Now true Christians will have to find a new name for themselves.

Conservatives want me broke and dead.
I have a preexisting condition. Before Obamacare, nobody would sell me insurance at any price.
