Racists outraged that Mall of America hired black Santa
One black Santa is too much for bigots.
Click here for reuse options!According to the editorial editor of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, comments on black Santa became so offensive the paper shut down their online comments on the article about it.
“Looks like we had to turn comments off on story about Mall of America’s first black Santa. Merry Christmas everyone!” Scott Gillespie wrote.
That didn’t stop people whose world was rocked by a non-white Santa from finding other venues to rage against the Claus, including Twitter and other comment sections.

Irony — Christian conservative bigots are outraged that a fictional character is portrayed as anything other than caucasian …. and yet they insist that Jesus — who clearly would have had a Middle Eastern complexion — be viewed as a pasty white guy.

That’s because you’re not reading it right. When the bible said that Jesus had “skin of bronze and hair like lamb’s wool, they were obviously speaking metaphorically. You know, like eating shellfish is an abomination – but since shrimp tastes so good, God apparently was only joking about that part. Homosexuality, on the other hand, BIG sin – and God was dead serious about hating them.

Besides, whoever heard of a black Jesus? Everyone knows he was blonde haired, blue eyed chick magnet. That’s why you see always see the Jeffrey Hunter types playing the lead character in the Jesus flicks, and not Barry White.

Maybe they should have a divider between two Santas. And let the people choose which Santa they what to come down the chimney, the Black Santa or the White Santa. Or maybe an Asian Santa, or Mexican Santa, you get the point.
