A petition urging the Electoral College to make Hillary Clinton the president of the United States is now the largest in Charge.org history.     They should be petitioning them to vote ‘none of the above’. They would have a lot better chance of getting that result. This is politics after all, some compromise will be necessary to get a result we can all live with.

        I’m not positive, but if they vote for no one and kick it to the House and they vote for no one, including no vice president, it would go to Biden until there is a resolution. Not sure though. Obama is out though, that is mandated by law. If a vice president is chosen by the House, they would become acting president until a president is chosen, or the next election.

        I’m not a legal scholar and when I read up on it, it seemed a little confusing to me.

          I am a history major, but nothing has even come close to what we are dealing with at this moment. I have no idea what we can do to avoid a rump Presidency, but I will support any movement that provides that chance.
