Trump voter had house foreclosed upon by Treasury pick

She now regrets she voted.

Teena Colebrook explained to the Associated Press that she had voted for Trump hoping he would keep his pledge to remove the elites from Washington. However, she became truly disenchanted when he chose [Steven] Mnuchin, partly because it showed he’s “now backing his buddies.”

But also because Mnuchin was responsible for the loss of her home and source of income…

“I just wish that I had not voted,” said Colebrook, 59. “I have no faith in our government anymore at all. They all promise you the world at the end of a stick and take it away once they get in.”

      • Suzanne McFly December 2nd, 2016 at 20:52

What is even worse, most still don’t realize they have been conned. The only ones who realized so far are the ones with an IQ above 5.

There was a time when I would feel enormous sympathy for someone like this, but that time is long gone.

She voted with the KKK. She voted with violent eliminationists. She voted with people who immerse themselves in the rhetoric of fascism.

But worst of all, she voted for a sleazy businessman driven by greed, ego, and incipient corruption.

He drained that swamp – right into the Oval Office, West Wing, and Executive Office Building.

Poor Teena? not by a long shot. I have zero sympathy for her and everyone else who voted for Donald because they lacked the fundamental intelligence to recognize him for what he is.

This election is on Teena and everyone like you who voted for Donald and inflicted him on our nation.

And about the loss of her house to Mnuchin’s crooked bank? Yeah, this is how I feel…

Agree with you completely. Had tRump been offensive a few times, lied a few times, perhaps we could overlook some of those who took the time to go off to a polling booth and vote for him….HOWEVER, he was offensive daily, lied daily, and the mammoth amount of information about his past was impossible to ignore.
I have no pity for the fools who supported him, but it is a tragedy that we will all suffer.

    • Lyndia December 2nd, 2016 at 23:08

      NOW, THAT WAS FUNNY.

  3. anothertoothpick December 2nd, 2016 at 14:30

    This makes perfect sense.

She loved pumpkin head all the up to this appointment.

She must have been swept off her feet by all those bankruptcies..

    Or maybe the pussy grabbing.

She didn’t care about the racist remarks you see, because they did not effect her.

    • whatthe46 December 2nd, 2016 at 15:27

and that’s why KARMA has knocked on her door. this isn’t the first time these asses look like the asses they are. when it didn’t affect her, she didn’t care. just like the woman who has a child with disabilities. she was all tRump until at one of his rallies she and her disabled child was thrown out by tRump and his “fans” telling her she didn’t belong there. she said she wouldn’t support him after that. only when she was attacked her feelings were hurt. when tRump was attacking others she cheered it on. fk all of ’em. i laugh at them.

      • anothertoothpick December 2nd, 2016 at 16:05

Out of spite for Clinton, many butt hurt Bernie fans not only voted third party, many of them voted pumpkin head.

        • Lyndia December 2nd, 2016 at 23:24

As I told one of my friends, that voted third party, “If you didn’t vote, you voted for trump, if you voted for trump, you voted for trump, if you voted third party, you voted for trump.”

          • whatthe46 December 2nd, 2016 at 23:32

White conservatives voted for Republicans who are killing the middle class to make the rich richer.

Then, outraged, they vote in a billionaire!

    Such fools.

    • Lyndia December 2nd, 2016 at 23:02

Yep, as Bobby Blue Bland says, “I pity the fool.”

      • bpollen December 3rd, 2016 at 06:23

And Mr. T’s homage to BBB was “I pity da foo’.”

  9. Trena December 2nd, 2016 at 20:41

Talk about a room full of idiots Trump hasn’t taken office yet and her Foreclosure is happening now which is during Obama’s term. It doesn’t matter who he puts in place for after Jan 20, 2017 it won’t affect her foreclosure which is taking place NOW!!! Get a clue people stop talking out your butt.

    • Suzanne McFly December 2nd, 2016 at 20:48

Keep up trena, you seem to be a dim bulb but I will at least give you the chance of removing your head from your a$$. Mnuchin owned OneWest bank during the foreclosure crisis under bush (the other guy you probably voted for) and his bank foreclosed on a lot of properties, this is from the article…
Over five years, she tried unsuccessfully to adjust her loan with OneWest through the Treasury Department’s Home Affordable Modification Program. But she said that One West Bank lost paperwork, provided conflicting statements about ownership of the loan and fees and submitted charges that were unverified and caused her loan balance to balloon. By the time she lost her home in foreclosure in April 2015, the payoff balance totaled $517,662.

Open your mind and quit being a blind follower because most of us voted for Her.

      • Trena December 2nd, 2016 at 21:13

You do remember who caused the housing markets to collapse RIGHT???? That’s right Clinton who approved the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac along with his Democratic buddies who pushed the banks to lend to people even if they knew they couldn’t afford it. You don’t buy what you can’t afford and if you see you can’t afford it you sell and get something you can afford. I was taught you don’t live above your means which apparently she was.

        • Suzanne McFly December 2nd, 2016 at 21:57

Ahhh, what can I say? I tried buttercup, but you are too far out there. You understand the housing market crashed in 2007 and Clinton had not been President for 7 years. But yet here you are showing your ignorance. What time is your med time because you are delusional.

        • whatthe46 December 2nd, 2016 at 22:14

FACT the market crashed under Bush. FACT: tRump said this:
“Trump in 2007: ‘I’m Excited’ for Housing Market Crash”

          http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/trump-2007-i-m-excited-housing-market-crash-n578761

It’s not Obama’s fault nor is it Clinton’s fault. the same man that foreclosed on all those homes, was non-other than Mnuchin.

        • Carolina Gonzalez December 2nd, 2016 at 22:15

Poor little thing; that is why Drumpf loves you! Poorly educated and missinformed people are belong to the “basket”

        • Lyndia December 2nd, 2016 at 22:57

As an Illinois broker, all of that happened under the Bush administration, not Clinton. The Bushes were in for 12 years. I remember a friend of mine was talked into getting a mortgage that escalated after two years. That was in 2008, I tried to talk her into getting a fixed rate loan but she would not listen to me. She lost her home several years later. Note went from 527.00 per month, to over 1200.00 per month. Predatory lending was the thing back then.

  10. Suzanne McFly December 2nd, 2016 at 20:42

I believe the world wishes she never voted even more than she does.

  11. Jerry December 2nd, 2016 at 23:15

    Knock Knock…

    Who is it?

    Karma coming home to collect.

    • Lyndia December 2nd, 2016 at 23:18

You are making me laugh and I am not the laughing type of person, but this is funny. Guess what? There are going to be MORE just like this little dummy, as time goes on.

    • bpollen December 3rd, 2016 at 06:19

And driving a vintage Karma Ghia…

  12. fay9169 December 2nd, 2016 at 23:24

So Teena Colebrook must have signed a balloon mortgage. That was her mistake. We backed out of one of those deals in late 2007…..well, we never got involved, as the paperwork clearly said if the housing market changed, our balloon mortgage would go up. My husband and I were barraged with phone calls for weeks afterwards, from mortgage brokers trying to talk us into it. They insisted it ‘might happen’, but it probably wasn’t going to……..so much for that.. I’m very sorry for her, but that’s how it goes when you don’t read the fine print. I was told that when the bank is too lazy to keep up with the paperwork, you should stay put in your home and don’t leave it……she may try that.

    • Lyndia December 2nd, 2016 at 23:28

The balloon mortgages, took a lot of people for a ride. It sounds good and that is what sucks you in, but after being in it for a while, your note goes WAY UP. Many people lost their homes because of this. It was called predatory lending. Not illegal, but not in the best interest of the buyer.

      • fay9169 December 2nd, 2016 at 23:35

Of course. Those people were just like sharks swimming around, trying to intimidate the poor buyer…..I know how they treated us. I also know many peop!e who lost their homes because of those predators. Obama made a bad deal when he bailed out the banks afterwards….he should have frozen the payments and let the people continue making their mortgage payments. And don’t recite a bunch of numbers to me, as I don’t exactly know how it all crashed–I just know it could have worked if he’d helped the borrower and kept them in their homes. They were paying for them regularly, until the market crashed.

    • whatthe46 December 2nd, 2016 at 23:36

i don’t feel sorry for her. she knew what tRump was about just as others who voted for him and now complaining that he lied to them. he’s in this for himself and the other billionaires, period. and when he drained he swamp, what he really meant was he was draining it to get to the slime at the bottom, just like him. every bad thing that happens to these asshats from here on out is well deserved. and i’m extremely ticked off when you consider that because of their stupid racist and ignorant choice, we who have common sense are also going to suffer. so no, fk her.
