Ambassador: ‘Mexico is not paying for the wall’
Mexican leaders are reminding us that they are not paying for a wall.
Click here for reuse options!“We have said time and again Mexico is not paying for the wall,” Carlos Manuel Sada Solana, Mexico’s ambassador to the U.S., told The Arizona Republic.
Trump said throughout his campaign that he would build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico and make Mexico pay for it, but has faced pushback from Mexican officials.
“That is something that has been said several times by the president of Mexico, the secretary of foreign affairs, secretary of economy, the secretary of finance. So we are not paying for the wall,” Sada Solana said.
He also warned that building a wall could damage the relationship between the two countries, especially in regards to trade.

You know what’s really going to hurt trade with Mexico?
Not securing the border.
If Mexico wants to continue to enjoy trade relations with the United States…
The border shall be secured.

Aw, poor baby no wall.
You voted for a fraud.
How ironic.

I didn’t vote for Trump, he’s not my guy.
But I do think the border needs to be secured. Our voting system needs to be secured. Voter ID and security of the border…
Both necessary.

Sorry, I keep forgetting you’re not a tRump voter.
Are you libertarian or republican ?
or maybe just an equal opportunity irritant on a liberal site ? ;)
trees December 1st, 2016 at 12:24
I would say libertarian.

Former republican. I presume ?
I’d be willing to bet that you share the same disgust as I do
over the lousy performance of our government in general ?

Yes, former R, lean R.
I think Trump got elected because people are tired of “politics”. I’d like to see the moderates on both sides work together.
I previously opposed legalized weed, but reversed on that, but still strongly concerned about the under 18 crowd screwing up their education through MJ abuse.
Would like to see the ACA refined to be “affordable”.
Would like dramatically less government regulation.
Etc…

I would prefer to bring ALL our troops home and have them guard our borders we don’t need no stinking 10 billion dollar wall however I do not buy into the fact that we’re being over run by crazy people at our borders to begin with. I am not opposed to “smaller Government and less taxes” And as long as we are now paying for Medicare in our taxes, it might as well be Medicare for all now…but we need even more people WORKING and paying taxes into it to accomplish that.

If you don’t think we have an immigration problem you’re just not paying attention. Both parties agree we have a “broken” immigration system. One party wants to secure the border, the other would rather not. One sees a problem with unregulated immigration, the other sees an abundance of new voters. All of that aside, undocumented workers suppress wages and take jobs from US citizens.
oldfart December 3rd, 2016 at 00:30
Immigration needs to be thorough and faster.
Blame employers, NO ONE is going to jail for being caught hiring illegals
and I’m not talking about farm workers. Suppressed wages are the result of employers greed not illegals.
What we need is another good ole fashioned Ronnie Rayguns amnesty program.

so you’re stupid in all your glory?
fahvel December 2nd, 2016 at 04:09
voting, yes – the babbling about a wall is merely a sign of pure ignorance and hate. Please tree, don’t drop any seeds. No one wants or needs a forest like you.

Our elected passed on the opportunity to read the NAFTA agreement to the public It gets interesting when you get to the part that says ” free trade ” and the foreign manufacturing plants that are already here

Ship Carrier off to the Mexico–
Rip up NAFTA–
