Protesters burn flag outside Trump NY hotel
This only happened because of Trump’s ridiculous misunderstanding of the Constitution.
Click here for reuse options!According to a report in Reuters, the activists included members of the Revolutionary Communist Party, which the news outlet notes is not part of the Community Party of the United States.
Trump made the suggestion that flag burners face “consequences” Tuesday morning.
“Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag — if they do, there must be consequences — perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
Multiple Congressional Republicans rejected Trump’s suggestion, arguing burning the flag is protected under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.

Perhaps I should consider selling flags on e-bay to stretch my retirement income.
Could become as profitable as gun sales under Obama…

Make it a kit, and add matches.

This clown isn’t even in office yet and he’s universally hated. This is going to be a great show. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/3d0185aa921a25da06a843a1030352079a3e057c13406a6144ef1a65fc2561d5.jpg

January 21, 2017 in Washington DC looks to be an interesting day.
Bring your flags and your “Impeach him now” signs.

They are being played. This is exactly what Trump wanted to happen. The news media will dutifully show these flag burnings, and that will cause Trumps’ base to remain loyal to him, in spite of any broken campaign promises. These flag burners are unwittingly working for Trump.

Trumps base….LOL https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/eb513afc98b044170b5b2e5700299d31c77dad5deb27b72eb8f62b7440ce101f.jpg

In the coming years we’ll be asking her if voting against those e-mails was worth it?
Red Mann November 30th, 2016 at 18:58
You over estimate tRump, he had no plan, he just parroted something one of the fascist fools on his staff said. tRump’s ignorant base will stay loyal to him no matter what.
Robert M. Snyder November 30th, 2016 at 20:14
“You over estimate tRump”
That’s what the experts told Hillary. Underestimate him at your peril, Red Mann.
Red Mann November 30th, 2016 at 20:20
tRump is not smart enough to do this to set a trap. His choices for his administration show a profoundly ignorant man, elected by profoundly ignorant people. I don’t underestimate the damage this man-child can do, it is astronomical, but it’s more related to his ignorance.
Robert M. Snyder November 30th, 2016 at 20:28
Define ignorance. He won the election. What did Hillary’s superior intellect accomplish? Nada.
Red Mann November 30th, 2016 at 20:37
Yeah, sadly, he won. Voted in by gullible fools who believed all the lies about what he was going to do and believed all the lies about Clinton. He won because asinine people on the left didn’t vote for Clinton because they were having a hissy fit. Also, flagrant voter suppression and foreign interference helped him. I wouldn’t be proud that he “won”.
His ignorance is evidenced by his own words and actions. His picks for his administration would be hilarious if they weren’t so dangerous. He is not fit to be President of the United States, period.

“He is not fit to be President of the United States, period.”
He has a few good qualities, and a lot of serious deficiencies. I could say the same of Hillary. Opinion polls showed that the majority of Americans disapproved of both candidates.
If Joe Biden or Dianne Feinstein had run, I would have voted for them. I could not bring myself to vote for Hillary, but as I lay in bed on the morning of Nov 8, I seriously considered voting for Hillary. I did not vote enthusiastically for Trump. He just seemed like the lesser of two evils. I suspect that a lot of Trump and Hillary voters had the same kind of reservations. I don’t think your portrayal of Trump voters as “ignorant” is accurate. I could not fault anyone who voted for Hillary, because I almost did so myself. There were no good choices.

Are we great yet?
