Trump to hold ‘thank you’ rallies

He’ll start Thursday in Ohio.

Trump will begin a “Thank You Tour” on Thursday in Cincinnati, replicating the arena events that powered his surprise campaign, three of his transition officials said.

The Republican has credited his rallies as a central component of his victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton. The events at times drew tens of thousands of people and were often broadcast live and in their entirety on cable news networks, affording him a practically unfiltered channel to voters.

His post-election tour may take him to “swing states we flipped over,” George Gigicos, Trump’s director of advance, told reporters on Nov. 17. Trump won Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida, all states President Barack Obama won twice.

He corrected reporters who called it a “victory tour.”

“‘Thank you tour,’ Gigicos said. “It’s not a ‘victory tour.’”

Hillary could hold thank you rallies but paying people to show up after you lost would be a waste of those precious Saudi donations to the Clinton foundation.

Someday when he is done celebrating and tweeting he might actually start looking into what it is that presidents do. He has lived a life where he cashed in on the work of others. He has never worked a day in his life and he will find out quickly that being president is much harder than writing settlement checks for fraud cases

This could be interesting. He has been backing out of campaign promises and now wants to get in front of people that feel betrayed, this could be very dicey.

Uber-Gropin’-Furher Trump may well be met by the huge majority of us who are disgusted by him. That’s what I plan on doing when he comes to Wisconsin.
