Issa: Trump’s ‘show of compassion’ doesn’t mean he won’t allow Clinton investigations

Posted by | November 24, 2016 09:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Congressman Darrell lssa is chomping at the bit to go after Hillary Clinton.

Trump has indicated that he thinks Clinton has been through enough and just wants to put the whole thing to bed, which isn’t sitting well with some Trump supporters.

But Issa told Fox’s Heather Childers [Wednesday] that Trump isn’t saying he’ll interfere if his attorney general or FBI director want to look into it, he just wanted to express a “show of compassion.”

He said President Trump would “stand aside and allow the process to work the way it’s supposed to.”

It’s probably a bargaining move. If the grifter-in-chief wants something later on down the line to help him grift more, he can get support from the GOP by offering up a Hillary investigation in exchange. It’s all about the ‘art of the deal’.

Good Lord, just give up on going after Hillary, I am sick of re-runs!

Now the republican controlled congress is going to spend more Millions of tax payers money to do what?
    In the pursuit of what?
What is the purpose of this?

You can’t expect them to do their job, can you?

this piece of doggy dropping does not know what the words compassion or honesty or inyegrity or pee pee mean.

Since he didn’t come up with the idea in the first place, it has nothing to do with any compassion he might feel, if he even knew what the word meant.

For all those who believe in the innocence of Hillary….

I can think of nothing more appropriate than a full and complete investigation. Empanel a Grand Jury, issue suponeas, depose witnesses, gather and organize the evidence , in order to bring transparency to the dealings of the Clinton Foundation and completely examine the relationship between Bill, Hillary, the State Department, and the Obama administration and Department of Justice.

    Let’s exonerate her.

Can’t do that without a thorough investigation led by a special prosecutor.

Only if you do the same to the T rump Foundation.

Sure, I wouldn’t have a problem with that

Let us know what you’ve found out
when you get back from Hawaii.

          • arc99 November 24th, 2016 at 13:38

ahh yes, those investigators on the ground in Hawaii checking the President’s birth certificate who could not BELIEVE WHAT THEY WERE FINDING!

still struggling with the reality that the man who helped perpetuate that racist hoax is the next President of the United States.

Fine and since Trump is now President-elect with the most direct impact on the country, let;’s do that investigation first.

Hillary has already been investigated for years.

When it comes to a new investigation for Hillary Clinton, please tell us exactly how many millions of tax dollars should be spent. The last time asked you a question requesting an answer with no spin or deflection, all I got was spin and deflection.

If you respond, just give us a dollar amount and omit the hypotheticals, what-ifs and unsubstantiated conjecture. Hillary-haters love to think of themselves as guardians of the public purse, but when it comes to their investigations, money seems to be no object. So let us put an end to right wing hypocrisy and evaluate the cost just as we do for every other government policy.

How much do you want to spend on a wild goose chase?

How much are you budgeting for the Trump investigation?

Fine and since Trump is now President-elect with the most direct impact on the country, let;’s do that investigation first.

I’m ok with this approach, still waiting for your budget submission.

What, 9 probes on one issue isn’t enough? Over $100 million has been spent by Congress investigating the Clintons. The only thing that stuck was Bill’s Bad Blowjob. But, what the hell, let’s just set up a permanent subcommittee to continue failing to find actual wrongdoing. What entitlement shall we eliminate to fund it?
