Posted by | November 18, 2016 16:52 | Filed under: Politics

This will keep Trump from having to testify in San Diego November 28.

The settlement ends a suit brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, as well as two class action suits in California. About 6,000 former students are covered by the settlement.

    He always settles.

    • amersham1046 November 18th, 2016 at 17:15

around him the dust never settles

      • allison1050 November 19th, 2016 at 05:38

        He’s a drama queen.

    • StoneyCurtisll November 18th, 2016 at 20:10

Actually trump has said, “I never settle because it encourages people to sue me”
      (paraphrasing)

      • oldfart November 19th, 2016 at 00:54

        True dat.

        • StoneyCurtisll November 19th, 2016 at 01:14

cause he is a gawd damned liar…

          • oldfart November 20th, 2016 at 08:23

And he can afford to be…

  2. nola878 November 18th, 2016 at 17:22

25 million is chump change compared to what he and his family will grift out of the nation over the next four years.

  3. wpadon November 18th, 2016 at 17:24

He settled because he knew he would lose.

    • trees November 21st, 2016 at 10:45

He settled because it was the smart thing to do.

      • oldfart November 21st, 2016 at 11:11

        The smart thing to do,
would have been NOT to start a money making “university” scheme
…AKA Fraud, in the first place.

Took you that long to get your talking points for that response, did it ?

You’re going to be very busy defending each and every promise your Dear Leader has made and has since backtracked on.

      • wpadon November 21st, 2016 at 13:35

He settled because he knew he could not win, his strategy was to out last his accusers. You don’t settle if you can win and you don’t invoke your 5th amendment right unless your guilty of something.

  4. ValianThor November 18th, 2016 at 17:55

One payment from the Kremlin will take care of these sad little beggars.

  5. KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker November 18th, 2016 at 18:01

Don’t this shyster settle out of court.
This con man needs to face all his charges .

  6. Guy Lauten November 18th, 2016 at 18:43

These were all civil cases. There are people out there seeking criminal charges (the alleged assaults, the Bondi and Abbott bribes). Those would not be so easily settled.

  7. Suzanne McFly November 18th, 2016 at 20:18

Of course he’s innocent, innocent people pay 25 million all the time…./s

  8. Red Mann November 18th, 2016 at 20:47

Whose money did he use? Surely not his own.

Trump says he plans to reopen Trump University after lawsuit-June 2. Go for it. Grifter U!
    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-says-he-plans-to-reopen-trump-university-after-lawsuit/

    • StoneyCurtisll November 18th, 2016 at 22:55

I bet he does reopen it…
Cause there are plenty more people more than willing to be fleeced by Trumpf..
Some would do it just because they would be honored to say “I went to Trumpf University”, and all they got was a picture with a cardboard cut out of the Donald…

  11. StoneyCurtisll November 18th, 2016 at 22:51

    25 Million is Trumpf change…
Small price for him to pay to make just one of his legal problems go away…

And his supporters/followers think he is a “man of the people who understands the needs of the working class”…

    • granpa.usthai November 19th, 2016 at 14:47

they’ll (giuliani crime syndicate) have that much pocketed between the meaningless oath of office ceremony and the don getting into the car.

what is needed is accurate day to day money laundering to their offshore bank accounts. when they fall, that money should go back to the American People.

  12. robert November 18th, 2016 at 23:20

FOOLS ! you thought this money was going to be handed out before i became president.

    your all chumps

    Donald j Trump

  14. trees November 19th, 2016 at 01:18

We thought we’d impeach him over Trump U!!!

    Waaaaaaaa……..

    • Obewon November 19th, 2016 at 02:14

No problem. Felonies involving Donnie abound.
It’s bad enough that Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon is reviled as an alt-right, woman-hating, Jew-hating, white supremacist…Now he’s got another problem.

According to FEC records, $950,090 was paid to Bannon’s company, Glittering Steel LLC, over the course of the campaign (Felonies for violating 120 day sequestration. 2 Years+ in Federal Prison.) by pro-Trump super PAC, Make America Number 1. The super PAC is mainly backed by Robert and Rebekah Mercer, and Rebekah was recently named to Trump’s transition team. The most recent payment made to Glittering Steel LLC was on November 5, 2016, and a full list of the expenditures made by the PAC to Bannon’s company can be found here. http://www.salon.com/2016/11/16/steve-bannon-reported-to-the-fbi-for-allegedly-violating-campaign-finance-laws/

He can still be impeached Thanks to legal precedent already set, Cheeto-Hitler can and will be dragged into court throughout what’s left of his term. http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/11/president-trump-can-thank-paula-jones-his-legal-troubles

      • trees November 19th, 2016 at 09:40

        Lol…you have become completely unhinged…

        • William November 19th, 2016 at 09:53

What? No reply? Just that? Thanks to legal precedent set when you idiots went after Bill Clinton, Cheeto-Hitler might just spend most of his time in court. So tell me Skippy? When in the History of this country has a president elect had to shell out 25 million dollars to pay people off for a scam? Now the fun REALLY starts when his dozen or so sexual assault victims start dragging his fat orange butt into court. Thanks to the miracle of television tape, he’s already confessed to method and motive. I wouldn’t miss this for the world. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c7cd837e1774d9225601105c69c7d3b66ec41e93572142481ee6a60e513ecc0e.jpg

          • trees November 19th, 2016 at 10:04

The dozen or so Hillary supporters who were gathered by the Clinton campaign to make bogus claims??

            Rotflmao.

Allegations during a political campaign are baseless.

Face it, you lost the election.

            Game over.

            • William November 19th, 2016 at 10:09

Did you miss the part where Cheeto-Hitler admitted to being a sex offender on tape? I’d say they have good cases. I didn’t lose anything. I wasn’t running. Allegations made during a campaign are baseless?
Except for e-mails right? (boy-oh-boy, you do like making a fool of yourself eh?)

              • trees November 19th, 2016 at 10:15

The email scandal was initiated prior to her nomination, and was a result of actual facts uncovered during the Benghazi investigation.

                • Hirightnow November 19th, 2016 at 10:26

Yeah, because who knew she’d get nominated?

                • William November 19th, 2016 at 10:26

“The email scandal was initiated prior to her nomination”
                  So were Cheeto-Hitlers many lawsuits.
                  Here’s the fun part.
                  Trump has pending law-suits.
Hillary has been completely exonerated. (I guess you missed Comey-the-clowns “we got nuthin speech”. )
Nine Benghazi investigations have all come up with the same thing….
                  Nothing.
Face it Skippy. Hillary retires in peace, and Cheeto-Hitler will be getting sued, until the cows come home.. Twenty Five million dollars? Really? Because innocent people always pay out twenty five million dollars.
                  but hey
at least he isn’t black huh?

                  • trees November 19th, 2016 at 10:31

                    I get it, you need a coping mechanism… Lol…

Whatever it takes for you to maintain your sanity.

At some point though, you’ll need to come to terms and get a grip on reality….

                    • Hirightnow November 19th, 2016 at 10:33

                      Trump is facing many,many lawsuits.
You need to come to terms and get a grip on that.
Your messiah makes Boss Tweed look like a piker.

                    • William November 19th, 2016 at 10:41

It’s time you came home to the fact that your boy stated to the whole world that it was ok to grab women by their genitals because he’s a “star”. That’s probably why Hillary got more votes than him. These women waited until there was at least two parts of the legal puzzle. They now have it because a moron bragged to the whole world in great detail how he sexually assaults women. Then there’s tax troubles, creditors, contractors and a myriad of legal issues that can all be bought forward thanks to a 1997 Supreme court ruling championed by the Bill Clinton haters. Does it get any better?
I think I’ll send Paula Jones a muffin basket and a card.

That’s probably why Hillary got more votes than him.

??? Did you happen to catch the results of the election?? Trump crushed her. PA, FL, WI, MI, OH…..

These women waited until there was at least two parts of the legal puzzle.

NBC studios coordinated with the Clinton campaign to smear Trump. They sat on the tape and sought out any woman who might have come into contact with Trump. They found their Hillary supporters who would accuse…6 weeks before the election. It was released in a very calculated manner….

The American people aren’t stupid, they saw right through the crooked Hillary attack. They also realized she’s not a leader….

                      Oh? How so?

                      A leader, leads

All she did was follow, and criticise.

She outspent the Trump campaign by an historic margin, but every commercial was nothing but an attack….

Every commercial was a reason why he shouldn’t be president, not why she should be president…

She couldn’t run on her record, she failed as SOS, she’s well documented as a incapable of the truth, incompetent in office, and highly corrupt.

Donna Brazil fed her debate questions in advance…

Hillary accepted them, formulated and memorized her replies, and delivered them in a scripted fashion…

Her adoring fans ate it, hook, line, and sinker.

This is the woman who falsely claimed to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary, claimed to have “dodged sniper fire”, and assured us, “there was no classified information on the server”…..

At this point, she couldn’t get elected as dog catcher.

                    • William November 20th, 2016 at 10:13

Lots of smoke and mirrors, but no credible argument…
                      AGAIN
Hillary got more votes than Cheeto-Hitler.
Sorry if the facts hurt that thing you laughingly call a brain.
Now when you get a minute please post any indictment or current charges on any docket for one Hillary . Clinton.
                      Facts matter.

                  • trees November 19th, 2016 at 11:22

                    Lol….

Trump starts a new reality show….

                    “Trump’s false accusers”.

                    Grand prize is $10,000,000

                    Runner up gets $5,000,000…

Contestants each receive $1,000,000 for playing…

All sign legal releases, dropping all allegations…

                    It’s a survivor styled game.

Trump actually makes money on the deal…

                    Lol..

The Clintons will never retire. They’ll continue to do the good work and donate to the world. Please note that not one word was mentioned about their taxes, decades released with all up-and-up.
Yes, they got paid for making speeches to those her followers dislike and still remember. No favors given to anybody, though the smell lingers.

                • granpa.usthai November 19th, 2016 at 14:41

                  nope.
no ‘facts’ were there 7X for her to be charged with anything. what the LYING pos sob comey did was send an open letter to the soh ryan (another worthless dirtbag) that there was something coming out about the Clinton Foundation. those facts PROVED to be fabricated by the republican FBI (as a campaign device).

BETRAYAL OF THE REPUBLIC has consequences.

                • Jungle_Bhoy November 20th, 2016 at 00:03

The only fact relevant to Benghazi is that Republicans fought tooth and nail to cut funding for embassy security and replace military security with crony budget security from the corrupt private sector.

Cheaper than the original $42M, no court time, no formal admission, losses cut, for now.
Let’s see if he tries to negotiate the settlement down by a third as usual.

  17. Maxx44 November 19th, 2016 at 20:26

    Crooked Hillary my ass.

  18. StoneyCurtisll November 19th, 2016 at 20:33

How many Millions of dollars has Hillary had to pay to people that are suing her?
A brief research revealed, Zero,(0) in pay off’s/settlements…

It must be bone crushingly hard to defend Donald theses days..

  19. the case guy November 19th, 2016 at 22:56

Whether it amounts to as much as 25-million, or if Donald weazels it down to about 15-million, from where is this settlement money coming? I would not be at all surprised if comes from OPM (other people’s money), just like he’s done with the Foundation’s assets to pay off other liabilities. By reaching a settlement before it goes to court, he can claim that he was never convicted of any wrongdoing, and that the payments were made out of the goodness of his heart. “Believe me, believe me.”
