He said he doesn’t think the Virginia general assembly would vote for it.Why? If the residents of Virginia say yes,then let the assembly explain why they stand in opposition to what the voice of the majority want.In the future(near future hopefully) people will look back on Americas war against a freaking flower with healing benefits,and wonder how such stupidity went on for years.

Strange side note – I was in Virginia at the concert where Brewer & Shipley (“One Toke Over The Line”) were busted and held for the horrible crime of cracking a beer in the stadium after the set. I tell ya, it wasn’t beer I was smelling in the audience.

We also have medical marijuana here in Illinois, but it gets better. It’s as expensive as if you were trying to buy it in the street (not that I know anything about that), but I heard the dispensaries are trying to establish a discount for senior citizens who are on a fixed income.
