Trump video deposition released
Back in June, game-show host and presidential contender Donald Trump was required to give a deposition in a contentious lawsuit involving claims of racist rhetoric and discrimination. A judge ordered the video of the testimony released:
A video of Donald Trump testifying under oath about his inflammatory rhetoric about Mexicans and other Latinos went public Friday, drawing new attention to those comments just weeks before voters cast their ballots in the presidential race.
Trump gave the testimony in June at a law office in Washington in connection with one of two lawsuits he filed last year after prominent chefs reacted to the controversy over his remarks by pulling out of plans to open restaurants at his new D.C. hotel.
In the videos, Trump says he planned his caustic remarks on immigration delivered during the launch of his presidential bid, when he said Mexico was sending “rapists” and other criminals into the U.S. However, the GOP presidential candidate and real estate mogul said he did not speak from a script and did not discuss his statements with anyone in advance.
Asked if he gave any thought to how the polarizing statements might affect businesses at his hotels, Trump said: “No. No , I didn’t. I didn’t at all.”
Trump also blamed the media for misinterpreting his remarks, which he stressed were confined to illegal immigration.
“I think the media is very dishonest. But all I’m doing is bringing up a situation which is very real, about illegal immigration. And I think, you know, most people think I’m right,” the real estate mogul said.
The recordings don’t seem to capture the dozens of protesters chanting outside as Trump answered questions related to the suit.
D.C. Superior Court Judge Brian Holeman said in an order issued Thursday evening that fears the testimony might show up in campaign commercials were no basis to keep the public from seeing the video.

So this is a law suit that Donald Trump himself brought against people he employed….
I thought theses right wingers were for tort reform and against flooding the courts with frivolous lawsuits..
Looks like Trump has changed all that..

He didn’t change it, he just brought the truth to the surface. Kind of like how greasy oil floats on the top of water.

Trump: I’m a great businessman.
Depositioner: But you didn’t think about how your comments about Mexican immigrants would affect your business.
Trump: No. Not at all.
