Kaepernick getting death threats

There are some people who have difficulty with controversial free speech.

…Kaepernick says he’s seen positives emerge from a racial-equality movement sparked by his national-anthem protests, he’s also received death threats as a result.

“I’ve had a few come my way, but not too concerned about it,” Kaepernick said Tuesday inside the 49ers locker room.

Asked if those threats have come only through his social-media channels, Kaepernick responded: “Couple different avenues.”

Kaepernick said he does not alert team security in the wake of such threats, because, “to me, if something like that were to happen, you’ve proved my point and it will be loud and clear for everyone why it happened, and that would move this movement forward at a greater speed than what it is even now.

“Granted, it’s not how I want it to happen, but that’s the realization of what could happen. I knew there were other things that came along with this when I first stood up and spoke about it. It’s not something I haven’t thought about.”

                  That I are and then some….both kids have a great sense of humor, they didn’t have a choice w/me as their mom.

                  When they would start crackin’ on me really bad, I’d tell them, “When I ask for toilet paper, you come rollin’.

                  They still think it’s funny as hell to give me crapola about myself….I bust their chops too.

                    In my household, you generally develop a sense of humor if only for self-defense. My 7 year old grandson has nailed me with a couple of mic-drop lines as he leaves the room…

                      Well, mine are too young for that…one is 16 months old and the twins are 3 weeks old….I am sure their mom will teach them how to get g-ma real good.

                      Even though the little guy is a bit young to talk, he does have a sense of humor developing already.

                      My kids are both grown up (well, chronologically) and take great joy in eviscerating me at every opportunity. If it’s a good hit, I’m the one laughing loudest.

    Anyone surprised? According to the stats Kaepernick is 6 ft 4, and 230 lbs. His workout is grueling, including hack squats of 540 lbs.     According to the Wikipedia page, this athlete is 6 ft 4 and weighs 230 lbs. His workout includes 540 pound hack squats for reps.
