I grew up in San Diego when the Padres were still in the Pacific Coast League. Me and my brothers were Dodger fans as they were the closest major league team, plus Sandy Colfax, Drysdale, and Vin Scully.
back ……. back,,,,,,,,,,,,away back……….she’s gone! he would proclaim over the radio waves with any home run. we would hate when he started into that and the opposing team was at bat.
As a side note, I hope the Giants sweep that series. Things have changed, know what I mean?
