Click here for reuse options!Former Rep. Jack Kingston, who is now a top Trump surrogate, made an appearance on The Situation Room to discuss Donald Trump’s outrageous claims about “inner cities,” and how he would “get 95 percent of the Black vote after his first four years.”
Kingston tried to claim that Trump was going out to their communities to talk to them directly, but Keilar was having no part of that. She stopped him short, saying, “I have to stop you because you said he’s going there. He’s not, he’s in Diamondale, which is 93 percent white. When he was in Milwaukee the other day, it was part of Milwaukee that wasn’t dealing — I mean, it’s almost completely white.”
Kingston retorted, “Maybe it would have been nice if he went and had a backdrop with a burning car.”

What the hell does a burning car have to do with anything, I don’t get it. What is he implying? I grew up in a minority neighborhood and we didn’t have burning cars on our streets. Please tell me that his is just pulling stuff out of his butt and not implying that these neighborhoods actually have cars burning.

I live in GA, so I know Kingston and Newt Gingrich rather well. They’re the types who can go to a doctor who is a member of a minority group on Monday morning, get excellent treatment and claim before the end of the day that, “All ___ are simply the most terrible persons in America!” Before I retired from teaching, I had to deal with individuals with the same mindset. They thought I was a great teacher, but they also thought my being black was a mark against me in some way or another. Go figure.

That is disheartening, the fact that you stayed there doing your job regardless of these types of people were saying shows you were there for the kids and that means you must of been a great teacher. I am just starting my teaching career and I don’t know anyone who is doing this for the money.
