Last Friday I finally felt sorry for Al Dofflerson.
I wonder if he’s going to call, today, fuming again about the Rio Olympics?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve enjoyed the Olympics — seeing so many strong, beautiful and dedicated athletes. I’m not a sport fanatic but it brings me a little happiness.
As an American, I was proud of our ethnically diverse women’s gymnastic team. As a human being, it was heart-warming to see Simone Manuel’s joy in breaking the race barrier in swimming. Tonight I’m watching the Jamaicans and marveling at their dominance in running.
Then Al Dofflerson called Alan furious that black people were in the Olympics. Or the music or the women’s outfits or the other religions or the other nations or some other weird obsession.
The level of toxicity in that dude is just pathetic.
Can he ever just crack a beer and enjoy something on TV?
