No, Brexit does not signal a Trump victory and here’s why
The motivations for he votes may be the same, but the electorates aren’t.
Click here for reuse options! There are, admittedly, similarities between the populist and anti-immigration attitudes that motivated many to vote for Trump in the Republican primary and many to push the UK towards the door marked “Brexit”.
Brexit voters were also whiter, older, less well educated and from areas that had not participated in the recent economic recovery. They were motivated by resentment towards immigrants and refugees and disdain for metropolitan elites.
But the American and British electorates are so different that it is impossible to productively compare the two.
The biggest difference is that the UK is a lot whiter. According to the most recent census data, 86% of the British population is white. In the US, only 63% is non-Hispanic white.

The people are mad, they want an exit from establishment political parties that don’t care about them. Right now tRump is that exit. It could have been Sanders but the establishment likes it hold on things. I think anything is possible as long as the people are mad and they think the politicians are doing the bidding of the oligarchy. Mad people are mad people, doesn’t really matter what the color of their skin is.

Sorry, not buying a bit of it….
It’s naive to believe that Trump hasn’t tapped into a vein of anger not seen in this country for years More than 30 million republican voters came out to pick a person to do one thing and one thing only…beat Hillary at any cost.
Anyone stupid enough to believe that a single one of those people won’t vote for Trump over Hill in a binary choice is an idiot…all this bullsh!t about #NeverTrump is just that….a large number of people in this country are carbon copies of the Brits and they should be expected to act in the same manner….
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve spoken to that know Trump will probably destroy the country, but don’t care…it’s what they’re hoping for…!!! The hate for Hillary is deeper than anyone could imagine.
If anything, Brexit is a shot of adrenaline for RWNJ (as if they’re not crazy enough) they will not be outdone by a bunch of British idiots …

We should probably not let Trump back into this country until we figure out what’s going on.

This well conducted exit poll clearly delineates the mindset of voters, and it could not be more stark in contrast between the two factions. Just note the attitudes of those who chose to “leave”..
