Trump looks to bring back failed trickle down economics
The ’80’s were great, unless you were poor or middle-income.
Click here for reuse options! As the presumptive Republican nominee gets ready to put out his plan to boost U.S. growth, he’s sought advice from some of the most notable names in Reaganomics, including Arthur Laffer, Larry Kudlow and Stephen Moore. More voters might support Trump if he can persuade them he will bring back some of the economic successes of the era when he penned his bestselling book, “Trump: The Art of the Deal.”
Kudlow and Moore have been working with the campaign on its tax plan, advising Trump to cut some deductions for high-income Americans and “raise money by broadening the tax base,” said Moore, a visiting fellow at the Washington-based Heritage Foundation who served as an economic adviser in Reagan’s administration.

When you’re at the top of the pyramid like the rump, of course the failed trickle down economic model works splendidly.

haven’t seen hide nor hare of any of condon’s tax returns yet, would need to see what amount he’s paying in compared to the average McDonald’s employee. Always felt it to be more fair and consistent with government of the people with those who are enjoying the bounties of this nation more to kick in a little more. In NC they still have the famous PUBLIC MARINA exclusively for yacht owners of all economic classes. Taxpayers get to pay for the whole shabang even though it’s the yacht owners of all economic classes that use it – exclusively.
Trickle down did not work in the 1980’s – neither did shipping out the manufacturing base to become a high tech service economy to be outsourced – or bringing in lots and lots of drugs via the US Military – and it sure as hell won’t work today in a fragile global economy where small insecure money grubbers try hocking their foreign made JUNK off on the average American.
make america great again
REFUSE to shop at un-american merchants that try hocking off foreign made TRUMP JUNK!
