Pope Francis recognizes that we or our forebears have all come from somewhere else.

We are all migrants,” Pope Francis said on Saturday on a visit to the Greek island of Lesbos to give hope to thousands facing deportation after risking their lives to reach Europe.

“May we… recognise that together, as one human family, we are all migrants,” the pope said in a prayer in memory to the hundreds of people of all ages who died in the Aegean.
