Obama approval rating up to 53%

This is what you get for not acting like a lame duck president and doing what you know is right.

According to the latest Gallup Daily Tracking Poll, President Obama’s job approval rating has reached a new high of 53%.

President Obama gained a point from his approval rating during last week’s Gallup Daily Tracking Poll, and his job approval ratings have completely reversed from where they were one year ago at this time. In March of 2015, President Obama’s approval rating split was 44% approve and 51% disapprove for a net rating of (-7).

Obama’s current approval rating is 53% with a disapproval rating of 44%, which is a net (+9) approval rating. Obama’s approval rating has been steadily growing since mid-January 2016, and more recently, the President has added a point to his approval rating in each of the past three weeks.

There has been a great deal of speculation about why President Obama is getting more popular. Part of the reason for the uptick in his numbers is the economy. Gas prices are low, the economy is growing, and the general economic climate is vastly improved from the days of the Bush’s Great Recession.

      At the end of his tenure, Dubya’s approval was at 34%. And that’s according to Fox.

    I think his nomination of a decent moderate judge and the recent attacks in Brussels may be helping also. Perhaps some knuckleheads are realizing just what they have now as opposed to what could possibly move from the right into the Oval office and are looking at things more carefully.

      President Obama is pretty much right of center. He orders the systematic killing of our enemies, has deported record number of undocumented, and tried to appoint a moderate judge. It makes you wonder what it is about him that causes the GOP to resist each and every effort he makes.

          Oh I think he is, however in todays America, Reagan would be called a liberal and run out of town. That’s how extreme the right has become. The right tried to repeal the ACA 60 plus times, two trips to the supreme court and even threats of impeachment, while at the same time they were trying to elect that Matt, Mort, Mitch, Romney-something or another, who actually INVENTED Obamacare. Lets face it. There is no other logical reason for the hate and obstruction. It’s simple racism.

    It’s the media trying to save his legacy. They are able to manipulate any way they want. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t absolutely HATE Obama except for black people and if you polled all of them his approval rate would be 100%
