The mystery of where Jesus Christ was buried
JERUSALEM, March 27, 2016 – Throughout the Christian world Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Oddly enough, the region where three of the great religions of the world were born, today remains a center of struggle and strife. Perhaps more than any place on earth, the Middle East is truly a land…

If I don’t pay for cable, I can’t get The Factor with Bill O’Reilly on the tele. And I sure as hell not forking over $30.00 to get it on my computer.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 16:14
What the hell does that have to do with this story?
larry d March 27th, 2016 at 16:28
I just did that to see how many assholes would reply.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 16:29

I have a friend in Skopje Macedonia..and asked her what sort of hoopla were they going to have for Mother Teresa?? As of yet…nothing…no towels, toilet paper , tea sets or commemorative plates…nothing..her guess was that there are so many groups that they play it down so as not to create friction

There’s no mystery…he’s in the backyard, next to my parakeet Sprout…..duh.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 16:38
Are you sure it Isn’t St. Francis?

Naw…he’s sitting on the window sill watching over the creatures and critters.
BTW, my duckie friend Bennie is back…he and his mate Joon have been coming by each year for 5-6 years now….except Joon is AWOL right now…she was seen in the pool the other day.
They have been coming to my back slider door everyday…I used to have geese come around that knew how to open the slider screen and walk right in.
Squirrels come around 3-4 times a day too…one of them jumps right on the screen door and just hangs there till he gets my attention..I call him Rocky J. Squirrel.
I bought a hummingbird feeder today…curious to see how long it takes before they show up.
If they don’t, no biggie…I got it at the $ store, so no great loss of moolah.
Years ago, a raccoon opened the slider screen while I was napping on the sofa…I woke up ‘cos I felt someone was watching me…he was that some one…took about 30 mins. to get him to leave…scared the hell outta me too!
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 17:21
I see a deer and a raccoon once in a while in Alexandria. Saw a ‘possum once Geese come from up north and spend the winter in any open space, even when it’s not next to the water. They’re all gone now.
katkelly57 March 27th, 2016 at 17:33
Saw a kajillion possums when I lived in Tallahassee…even had a family of them living in the backyard.
I do miss tree frogs and mocking birds, mourning doves, cardinals…but not the love bugs nor snakes, mosquitoes, any stinging insect, kudzu, humidity…ooh I do miss real good thunder storms!
Having said all that, I truly love the PNW…best move I ever made.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 17:42
Love bugs? You mean this one?

katkelly57 March 27th, 2016 at 19:05
Yer a regular riot there Larry….
Love bugs fly around 2wice per year and are hooked together and they are everywhere en masse.
Don’t think that one can get off the ground…unless it’s converted to a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Bug.

Never heard of them.
katkelly57 March 27th, 2016 at 20:58
Not missing much.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 17:44
I see a lot more wildlife at my sister’s house on the edge of the desert in Tucson: coyotes, rabbits, quail, peccaries, roadrunners, especially in the morning before it gets too hot. And lots of hummingbirds.
katkelly57 March 27th, 2016 at 18:27
Oh, I forgot about the coyotes!
Some even come out in the daylight…and we do have bears show up now and then along w/cougars (4 legged kind)…a few summers ago we had a cub in the neighborhood…..there’s sooooooooooo much development here it’s ruining their habitat…and the homes being built no one can afford…$550K and up.
They’re built so close too, asshole to elbow…if you flush or fart everyone can hear it.
For that kinda money there better be a biiiiiiiiiig space btwn the homes for me to buy one.
Last summer there was a wee bunny out back too…dunno what happened to it, maybe the coyotes got it or someone found it and kept it as a pet.
I’ve always wanted to see a real live road runner up close and personal.
Meep, meep.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 18:28
It’s related to the cuckoo. You can tell by the shape of their head.
MagnaDave March 27th, 2016 at 18:39
When I lived in NM, we had a roadrunner in our neighborhood. He was missing a leg but he (or she) got around just fine.
We also had some crows that thought they were pretty funny. One of my neighbors had a car alarm and, for reasons I’ve never figured out, he would “chirp” it constantly which was really annoying. One day, I could hear it chirping again but, when I looked, his car wasn’t in the driveway. The crows had learned to imitate it (perfectly), lol.
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 18:54
Crows are very clever birds. Nova did an episode about them on PBS. You can watch it here. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/nature/bird-brains.html
MagnaDave March 27th, 2016 at 19:33
I’ve seen that! It was awesome. My favorite part was the crow (raven?) who would turn off the lady’s car after she spent so much time warming it up.
The link is to a clip, though. Unfortunately, PBS no longer has the whole episode online. I wish they did. I’d share it with people.
Thanks for providing it, though!
Larry Schmitt March 27th, 2016 at 20:25
On the website, is shows it’s 51 minutes. I guess you would have to buy it if you wanted to see the whole thing.
MagnaDave March 27th, 2016 at 21:15
Yup. It used to be online in its entirety but now you must have to buy it to see the whole thing. That was one of the best episodes I ever saw. Ravens and crows are so intelligent and even seem to have a sense of humor.
bofhf March 27th, 2016 at 21:29
i subscribe to xfinitity. yes i know but they’ve gotten a lot better – they cut my bill by $20 and threw in Starz (I already have HBO as part of my regular subscription as no cost). But it’s not on the xfinity “on demand” either but that’s not unusual since they control everything and only put up what they want.
bofhf March 27th, 2016 at 21:25
Oh are they clever. really clever.
katkelly57 March 27th, 2016 at 18:59
They are smart little buggers…did ya know they can live to be 75?
We have plenty of them too.
Maybe Wile E. Coyote got that leg….
MagnaDave March 27th, 2016 at 19:29
Crows can live that long? That’s awesome!
We did have coyotes so you might be right.
Happy Easter, by the way!

It was 2000 years ago… I imagine that most biblical places are not known.
I gotta say, despite being a devout Christian, this kind of thing doesn’t interest me.
I haven’t been to Israel but I doubt it would be a very fulfilling trip for me since I’d be skeptical of most of the claims about biblical sites.
Dwendt44 March 27th, 2016 at 23:55
Gullible tourists bring lots of money to tour the ‘official’ jesus sites. Whether they are ‘real’ or not, is another matter.

The beautiful gnarled trees with their beautiful and old shapes and twists are magnificent.
jamesboyle63@gmail.com March 27th, 2016 at 21:16
Hard for someone who never existed to be buried anywhere.
bofhf March 27th, 2016 at 21:23
I’m Greek Orthodox. Easter is May 1st. As I was taught it was the Catholic Church who determined when Easter was to be celebrated. And, you wonder why people question this at all.
Dwendt44 March 27th, 2016 at 23:59
I’m curious that the word ‘supposed’ isn’t found in these stories like it should. Rarely are there any evidence at all, the rest is tradition, habit, or an outright scam.

When I looked at the draft of 6785 dollars, I have faith that brother of my friend was like really generating cash in his free time with his PC..upe His aunt’s neighbor has done this for only 11 months and by now repaid the loan on their home and bought a new Car.

Until they show something that resembles in the movie with a round/wheel-like rock door, I won’t believe anything else.
