I have a question for Alan…I totally respect you for your toughness when dealing with the Republican side…you are good at what you do…I want to just ask….Do these folks who you interview, from the gop, understand what we the regular folks think about them? or do those in the media who you talk to, understand that we the little guys aren’t as stupid as they treat us? I mean…it seems that the MSM doesn’t “Get it” that their corruption has been noted and we are in the process of ignoring them? You have a unique opportunity with your credible and sane interviews…I don’t know how you can do it without wanting to slap some sense into these people…
and my grandson forgave me for dropping his phone…new one on the way…we did discuss the manufacturing of these phones by kids his age, for less than what we pay for a sugary drink…he “Gets it”…and we thought we would look for a phone that wasn’t manufactured by slave labor…it was harder than we thought…
I reject the term MSM, as the media landscape is so diverse that even digital media is mainstream. I don’t think you can discount that the GOP and its followers are “regular folk.” Trump supporters are “regular folk”. Democrats need to understand that so they can appeal to them.
Then an argument can be made that the people who followed Jim Jones were “regular folk”
I don’t think we are discounting that the GOP and its followers are “regular folk” or “Trump supporters” are “regular folk”. I have family members who are Doctors, nurses and “regular folk”. That’s what scares the hell out of me.
Appeal to them? That’s what Democrats always do and the Republicans see it as weak and take full advantage of it.
But hey business as usual.
you give them too much credit. “regular folk?” i know a lot of “regular folk” and they are not racist, they are not bigots, they do not call for singling out a specific religion or ethnic group to discriminate against. they don’t hit people who don’t share their views. that’s not “REGULAR FOLK” they are sick minded individuals.
Even frank luntz was put on notice during his post detroit town hall focus group questions I dont think he was prepared for all the answers he got When he asked the entire group ” who is going to be our next president ” one said donald trump
The Democratic Party’s best and strongest general election candidate is Bernie Sanders,
whose campaign has all the energy, excitement, and potential coat-tails.
People believe him and believe in him.
The stakes are too high to go to the general in November with anyone other than Senator Bernie Sanders.
LOL. how pathetic. after all the shit that tRump spews, the lies, the hatred, the ignorance, the racism, the call for assaulting people, and this bitch has the nerve to call someone else out. damn the stupid.

I think Alan is right about “regular folk”. I’ve been in Florida the last month and met and talked to many ‘regular folk’ for all over the country.
Just remember how dumb the ‘average’ American is and then realize half the population are dumber.

At least you have a sense of humor about it.
Now stop the campaigning; opinions are fine, but you’re toeing the line.
