I work in schools, it is easy for kids to find a place to do something like this on a campus that has buildings that are not attached. School staff has caught kids carrying on various activities while in school, they are immature and have the belief they are indestructible and can do anything. It is funny to see the shock come across their faces when they see you watching them. It amazes me that people are upset about the staff not seeing what was going on, but yet many demonize school staff and say there are too many on the payroll and they want to cut staff. If staff is cut more, more of this will happen. I find it hard to believe anyone employed by the school would allow for this to occur.
it’s that they glorify violence…where do they get that from? media…at home….we are not doing a good job of teaching youth that violence does not solve problems….there are a number of ways to do that…teaching kids to value conflict resolution and the importance of community that values cooperation and working together…..oh well….I could say more but that’s enough
