Tell me again how cruz or any other evangelicals marriage is ruined by marriage equality?

    • whatthe46 February 15th, 2016 at 22:50

apparently it’s the prostitutes to blame. then the gays. because they, who’ve been caught cheating while preaching against it, have been caught with both.

    • granpa.usthai February 16th, 2016 at 00:25

the ‘christian’ man spends too much time thinking about what’s going on in their bedrooms that he forgets what’s going on in his, and usually {test tries} his thoughts to see how utterly disgusting, vile and to some deliciously wicked it might be. Usually after more than many {test tries} they’ll get caught and blame it on the failing nature of sinful man (certainly nothing personal about themselves) and wind up taking a European Vacation with a young good looking well equipped baggage boy.

Sorry, Teddy, as much as you wish we were, America’s not a theocracy.

ps…hey Christians, remember this…Ted’s version of Christianity may not match yours…

Cruz has proven to me he’s a deranged nut case, mentally disturbed. He needs to be given his “End is Near” sign back and stand him on a street corner.

  4. whatthe46 February 15th, 2016 at 22:28

    i’m gonna throw up.

Swaggart’s sermons are as political as they are religious, and he has
never been shy about describing feminists, liberals, Democrats and rock
musicians as agents of Satan who promote immorality at every turn. But
in 1988, it was revealed that the adulterous Swaggart had been cheating
on his wife with a New Orleans prostitute named Debra Murphree.

Laura Schlessinger, a.k.a. Dr. Laura, was a convert to Orthodox Judaism
(before renouncing it in 2003), and she has made a career out of railing
against sex education, abortion, premarital sex, porn, feminism and
homosexuality (the gay-bashing Schlessinger once said that “a huge
portion of the male homosexual populace is predatory on young boys”). But for all her moralizing, Schlessinger hasn’t always acted like a
Puritan; in the late 1990s, some nude and topless photos she had posed
for in the mid-1970s were published on the Internet. “queen of family values” routine is also laughable considering that
when her mother died in 2002, it was widely reported that Dr. Laura
hadn’t spoken to her since 1986.

Gingrich was lambasting Clinton for committing adultery and trying to
get him impeached, he was also cheating on his second wife, Marianne
Ginther, with a woman (Callista Bisek, who became his third wife) who
was 20 years younger. And that wasn’t the first time Gingrich committed
adultery. In the early 1980s, Gingrich cheated on his first wife, Jackie
Battley, with Ginther—and when Battley was in the hospital recovering
from cancer surgery, Gingrich insisted on discussing the terms of their
    divorce.

Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana is infamous for his extreme social conservatism and for pandering to the Christian Right. But in 2007, it was revealed that Vitter had been a client of the
Washington, DC escort service operated by Deborah Jeane Palfrey, a.k.a.
the DC Madam; Vitter admitted he had cheated on his wife with a
    prostitute…”

“when our heart weeps at what’s happening to the country and we wonder why is it that the federal government is waging war on life, is waging war on marriage, is waging war on religious liberty”

For cripes sake, what the hell is he talking on about?

    • Mensa Member February 15th, 2016 at 23:53

      >>For cripes sake, what the hell is he talking on about?

His conservative Christian audience knows exactly what he’s talking about.

Waging war on life = pro-choice
War on marriage = gay marriage
Waging war on religious liberty = separation of church and state.

      • mistlesuede February 15th, 2016 at 23:57

What is it about creeps like him and his father that they don’t get that this is called the United STATES Of America, not the United Church of America.

        • Mensa Member February 16th, 2016 at 00:00

I’m no expert on daddy Cruz but but, from what I’ve heard, he seems like a Christian nationalist. Sometimes it is called Dominionism. Or Christian Sharia.

          • mistlesuede February 16th, 2016 at 00:12

            Agreed. And also called creepy.

            • Mensa Member February 16th, 2016 at 00:20

I’m now a liberal Christian but I grew up in a fundamentalist church so I’m very familiar with guys like Cruzes.

IMHO, they are grifters who are very good at manipulating conservative Christians.

When speaking in public, they use coded language just like Cruz did in the above quote.

          • whatthe46 February 16th, 2016 at 02:14

            bka, jim jones.

    • granpa.usthai February 16th, 2016 at 00:03

the “we’re being persecuted because we can’t rule OVER the lives of US Citizens who don’t let us anymore” complex.

      • Mensa Member February 16th, 2016 at 00:11

That’s the core of it, obviously.

But, it’s also part of a deep persecution complex that goes beyond Christianity.

Think of all the gun nuts claim their guns are being taken away — when nothing of the sort has been done. Or, several of the GOP candidates who think that “political correctness” is literally destroying America. Or Fox’s “war on Christmas.” and on and on.

        • granpa.usthai February 16th, 2016 at 00:34

dumbing down America into believing the world is round?

          • granpa.usthai February 16th, 2016 at 00:41

here’s a good scientific experiment to show ’em.

have someone hold a ball 13 inches in diameter.
walk 64 feet away from them.
hold up a BB between thumb and forefinger.
tell them this is a scale model of earth in relationship to the sun

just one tiny dot when viewed from the next closest star system.

that he’s a dirty bastard and when caught, please forgive him.

    • StoneyCurtisll February 16th, 2016 at 01:57

      It’s the “Christian persecution complex”…
Without that, half of what they believe goes away.

  8. Mensa Member February 15th, 2016 at 23:50

    I’m a believer.

But, I doubt that Cruz would vote for me.

  9. Tommie February 15th, 2016 at 23:58

Christians shouldn’t vote for false prophets either!

    • whatthe46 February 16th, 2016 at 01:48

yet they continue to follow stupid.

  10. granpa.usthai February 16th, 2016 at 00:00

REAL CHRISTIANS shouldn’t vote for a KNOWN LIAR and CON JOB even if he is the Canadian born son of the Cuban Antichrist that ushered in the communist regime of Fidel Castro.

    • Mensa Member February 16th, 2016 at 00:13

Another person here calls him a “Cuban Antichrist” — what do you mean by that?

      • granpa.usthai February 16th, 2016 at 00:32

for me, the old man, who played a BIG part in getting Castro to the throne before high tailing it out of Cuba with the other failed counter revolutionaries, accuses MY POTUS of being an Antichrist, ushering in the end of America, yada yada yada – just throwing the mud right back at ’em (mixed with a bit of HISTORICAL super glue).

  11. Dwendt44 February 16th, 2016 at 00:38

Not sure there are any ‘non believers’ running for president. Sanders could be considered an Agnostic I guess. Does that qualify?

  12. StoneyCurtisll February 16th, 2016 at 01:54

What “non-believers” are this idiot talking about?

    • whatthe46 February 16th, 2016 at 01:59

himself and the idiots who follow him. damn why isn’t pat liarson not shouting out to defend him?

  13. rg9rts February 16th, 2016 at 05:47

  15. William February 16th, 2016 at 10:28

I guess I can give a Canadian a pass for not knowing about our separation of church and state.

  16. Gina Bousquet February 16th, 2016 at 12:33

Here’s wishing over 54 million believers stay home again in 2016.
