Well done…it’s a start. They’re gonna need lots more before this thing is over.
Oh, and Snyder doesn’t want to hear any political shaming or finger pointing…got it…
Exactly, the whole fiasco about going to river water was replete with finger pointing and shaming by Snyder but now, that’s petty and we need to move on. Fkn beautiful.
When I was a kid, Granny would get all upset when I would go swimming at the local pool because “the coloreds went there”. She was afraid that I would turn dark. Ironic … with my Italian ancestry I was always dark, especially during the summer.
And what’s really ironic, her mother came here on the boat from Ireland when the Irish were vilified by pretty much everyone. The other grandparents & great-grandparents were Italians who never spoke down about anyone.
My grandmother was Irish and raised in Queens, I could not understand her thinking. It seems they did not want to be the on the bottom rung on the ladder maybe. I don’t know, but I am thankful the ignorance was not passed down.
Charity is a basic tenet in both Christianity and Islam.
For some people, religion is what separates them from the rest of the world.
For others, religion is what shows them the commonality of humankind.
The former are almost invariably the ones who cause the heinous behavior in the name of religion. And, not coincidentally, they are also the most pro-authoritarian.
you better believe it. probably saying they’d rather drink the contaminated water. or saying that the moolims probably poisoned the water with something that’s more dangerous.

Fox News is going to argue that the Muslims aren’t so special. They don’t have anyone on their team who can turn water into wine. /s

Better be careful. Drink any of that water, you’ll turn Mooslim. You know, the way your kids will turn gay if they have any contact with gay people.
