I always viewed Ricky-Bobby as a not-too-bright opportunist who doesn’t hold his rw beliefs too deeply. After all, he was Al Gore’s Tx campaign mngr in 1980. Abbot on the other hand is a true believer of both rw politics and fundie religion who will end up being worse for the state. I just hope he isn’t guv for 14 years like his predecessor.
