Gas Now Below $2 A Gallon
They blame the president when prices go up, so does he now get credit?
The average pump price fell to $1.999 a gallon at about 4 p.m. New York time on Saturday, according to data from GasBuddy Organization, a price tracker based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. That compares with an average price of $2.11 a month ago and $2.44 one year ago.

I blame Obama. Nutty right wingers will come out and say it is not in the Presidents ability to adjust gas prices in 3…2…1…

I saved this from the last presidential election cycle. When gas was expensive, the right ignored all reasoning and facts that indicated the President has nothing to do with the price of gas…..suddenly, they agree.

Exactly, that is what I was referring to in my post. They recall only when it is convenient.

Prices are down because oil production in the country is up.
More oil, lower prices.
Gindy51 December 20th, 2015 at 13:55
The Saudis are also keeping the price low to make sure ISIS, ISIL or Daesh are not raking in the profits.

Economics, not agenda.
“United States domestic production has nearly doubled over the last six
years, pushing out oil imports that need to find another home.”

It’s because when Obama Invaded Texas during Jade Helm and put the place under martial law, he also seized the oil wells. Just another clever ploy to win a third term

Except here in CA. But that’s because our state gas tax is higher than everyone else.

$2.19 in Lodi California Costco 12/16/2015
In campaign 2012, the Republican candidates were ranting about how if they were elected, unemployment would be below 6% and gasoline would be less than $2.50 per gallon.
Those things have happened on President Obama’s watch.
I hear right wingers claim repeatedly that the President’s race has nothing to do with their criticism of him. I say horsesh*t.
We all know that if, a white right wing President had saved the largest employer in the country, along with tens of thousands of jobs (General Motors), got Osama bin Laden, presided over 5% unemployment and $2.50 gasoline, the GOP would be measuring Mt. Rushmore for an update.
But those things were accomplished with the black guy in the Oval Office. suck on it righties.. Despite your lies, obstruction and psychotic hatred, the President has done a remarkable job. We will likely never know how much more could have been accomplished if the GOP had goals other than undermining the Obama administration, regardless of the harm done to our republic.

Gasoline prices $2.00 a gallon, the lowest in 10 years. US Oil production UP 80% since 2008. These Low gasoline prices have allowed motorist to shift $540.00 a year from their gas tanks to their Savings Account plus, since most families have two (2) drivers many households are now Saving $1,040.00 per year and this $1,040.00 is welcome money for the holiday stockings. (Oil Price Information Service/report CNN 14/12/2015). Bottom line is if you want to go back to $4.00/$5.00 or higher for a gallon of gasoline, then vote republican or if you still want lower gasoline prices and the savings passed on to you the consumer than by all means vote with your wallet and vote…DEMOCRAT, because they care for all Americans and not just the 1%, and thank you Pres. Obama (D).
