Ben Carson Says Americans Are So Stupid, They’d Vote For Satan
One of the more strenuous pursuits of this presidential election has been cataloging the many crazy, weird things that Ben Carson says, but several liberal sites are now attacking Carson for saying that “many” Americans are “stupid.” Mother Jones‘ David Corn dug up a clip from Carson’s October, 2014 appearance at the Nixon Library, and TPM is blasting it out there, too, with the headline “Ben Carson Wisecracks: Many Americans ‘Are Stupid‘.”
In fairness to Carson, I’ve added in a few extra seconds of context, but the headlines are pretty much accurate:
“The people are not as stupid as they think they are. Many of them are stupid. Okay. But I’m talking about overall.”
This isn’t the only time Carson has made sport of Americans’ intelligence. In April of 2014, at the 108th Annual Meeting of The Manufacturers’ Association, Carson told his audience that…READ MORE

Does Ben Carson think all Americans are stupid? Of course not, but the stupid ones are the ones he’s counting on to vote for him.

A large number of them must be, if they can listen to all the stupid things he says, and still support him for president. But a “yes” in a poll is not a vote in a primary or on Election Day. There’s still a long way to go.

well yeah, he is right. There are a lot of uninformed, down right dumb people. How else can his candidacy be explained?

Odds of Ben Carson becoming the GOP Satanic party nominee? 7 to 1. Chances of odd Ben becoming POTUS Carson? 16 to 1. HRC wins 5 out of 5 times Ben Carson
7/1

Notice he didn’t say they’re so stupid they’d vote for Ben Carson. No one would be that stupid.

The fact is, many Americans are stupid. Look at foxnews ratings, talk radio, in Kentucky they just voted to strip healthcare from 400K people, the list with examples of stupidity grows everyday.
Dwendt44 November 4th, 2015 at 11:41
Which explains why he’s ahead in the polls.

If the choice was between Carson and Satan, Satan gets my vote every time and according to all indications I am not a stupid person (3 college degrees, successful career, raised a thinking American to adulthood).

He is running…..from The Hague…

I’m not too sure about that, Ben. After all, look how many stupid people are willing to vote for you when Satan would clearly be the more qualified of you two to be POTUS.
Gina Bousquet November 4th, 2015 at 17:59
The stupid ones all vote Republican.

You shouldn’t just blindly listen to what the media says
people say. What Ben Carson actually said in the context of how the Media views
the intelligence of the American people was “They (the media) have under estimated
the intelligence of the American people, the people are not as stupid as they
think they are. Many of them are stupid. But ok. But I am talking about
overall. Overall people are not as easily manipulated as they
actually believe they are…..” If you listen to the entire speech it is
clear he was not putting down the American people.
