Pat Robertson: Kids ‘Celebrate Satan’ On Halloween

Posted by | October 30, 2015 07:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Religion

It’s time once again to harsh the mellow of those who wish to enjoy Halloween.

Robertson issued his annual warning about Halloween, this time in the introduction to a story about a Ugandan woman who blamed her frequent nightmares on her family’s relationship with a witchdoctor.

Robertson said that the woman’s story was a cautionary tale to all the children dressing up in costumes this Halloween, whom he believes unwittingly “celebrate Satan” during the holiday.

He would invite them in to explain why it’s wrong for them to continue this dark holiday!

First time the person answering the door is scarier than the trick or treaters.

No one has been turned to Satan by Halloween. He’s spewing bullshit again. Halloween is a fun occasion to scare people and get a sugar rush. No kids would want to walk up his long driveway to get to his front door anyway. He would probably give out bible tracts. We always had a couple of loonies like that when I was a kid. I don’t know who they thought they were saving, kids tossed those in the trash first chance they got.

And Rush Limbaugh said “Halloween is a socialist holiday because it teaches kids how to beg for free stuff”! Wow, if kids really want to scare people, go as Rush Limbaugh or Pat Robertson!

For years our nearby mall had a trick or treat Saturday before Halloween, kids could dress up and go store to store and collect coupons, treats etc, it was a lot of fun. For everyone apparently expect the ‘Christian’ bookstore. It got comical- year after year staff would stand at the entrance scowling at kids and their parents and apparently telling them they could not enter the store. Seeing those sourpusses was such a total complete turnoff for what they believed and these fools didn’t get it. BTW, they went out of business some time ago.

This is just a symptom of the war on Christianity. As the absolute arbiters of good and evil, everyone should listen to their dire warnings that anything not sanctioned by their particular denominations will condemn everyone to an eternity of horrible, excruciating, torture at the hands of their loving god.

They could have earned a lot of kudos by simply participating. Giving the kids some candy and maybe something like a little Bible story book- where’s the harm in that? It is so easy to be judgmental.

This asshole lives in a sick, perverted world. I am glad I am not living there with him.

It is an ancient celt tradition where bonfires were lit to scare away ghosts, I am so sick of these reprobates making everything about their fairy tales and myths and attempting to scare and control their weak followers.

I can fully understand this poor woman’s plight because her family’s relationship with a witch doctor. I wouldn’t be able to sleep either if I had to hear “OO! EE! OO AH AHH! TING! TANG! WALLA-WALLA BING-BANG!” over and over.

Every single holiday the Christians celebrate is really an appropriated pagan holiday. Christmas, Easter, Halloween. So what? Why do they worry about Halloween and not Christmas, which is really Yule, and is really about the sun not the son? And all the connotations of evil were added by the Christians too. For the pagans it’s just New Years and a day when the veil between the worlds is thinner so they honor their dead. Big deal.

Here’s a prime example of the Satanic connection… and only $59.99!

well if anyone would know, it would be Pat Robertson. After all, he is Satan’s spokesman for the other 364 days a year.
