Bride-To-Be’s Family Turns Canceled Wedding Into Homeless Banquet
The California family wanted something good to come out of a horrible situation.
Click here for reuse options!Quinn Duane, 27, was looking forward to a lavish wedding at Citizen Hotel in Sacramento, California, when her fiancé got cold feet and called off the event just five days before she had planned to walk down the aisle.
Quinn’s mother, Kari Duane, told KCRA that her heartbroken daughter called her on Oct. 12 and told her that her wedding to fiancé Landon Borup, also 27, would no longer take place.
At that point, most of the bills for the $35,000 wedding had already been paid for and couldn’t be refunded.
Instead of just cancelling the Oct. 17 wedding banquet, however, the El Dorado Hills, California, family contacted local homeless shelters in Sacramento and invited their residents to come enjoy the extravagant meal.

Hey Landon,
I think you may have made a mistake in walking away from a woman and family that would react to this situation with such caring towards others.
