Abortion Clinic Owner ‘I Thank God Every Day’ For My Abortion
Diane Derzis owns the last and only abortion clinic in Mississippi, and is likely part of a Supreme Court case this coming session focused on laws that result in shutting these clinics down. She explained the importance of her work and talked about her own abortion on my show Thursday night.
Derzis told me that not only are all the clinics being shut down in her state but the neighboring states as well, making nearly impossible for women in the region to get an abortion. She also talked about the 24 hour and 48 hour waiting period rules that have affected her clinic and clinics like hers, and why she doesn’t support public funding of Planned Parenthood.

Can’t listen/watch the video. She doesn’t support public funding of Planned Parenthood? Can someone post her reason why?

She claims PP has millions of dollars coming in in donations and do not need any federal funding. This lawyer went onto say the CEO is paid over a half a million dollars, they “obviously” have too much money. She had me up till that point, then she just fell off the cliff. She claimed it was PC to say that PP should be supported by federal funding.

Unlike this lady, PP does MORE than abortions. Does she think ALL health care clinics shouldn’t get reimbursement for healthcare provided? Or is it just PP? To me, it sounds like sour grapes.
Suzanne McFly October 3rd, 2015 at 15:04
In the clip she just talks about PP receiving Federal funds and Alan questioned her on her reasoning for denying PP money. She claims people support the federal funding just because it is the PC thing to do. She does not have a valid argument.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall when you she meets God after passing from this world. It would be very interesting to see her trying to explain to the creator of all life why she destroyed the life which was growing within her. Good luck lady!

well since you believe everything in your told, you realize then that your god is responsible for the deaths of 100’s of thousands of the unborn when he flooded the world. would you also blame your god for miscarriages as well.

you will never see this mythical place called heaven, not even as a rat.

I’m pretty sure that a nasty right-wing prick like yourself is going to have a tougher time than she does.
For one thing, Jesus never said a word about abortions, but he criticized judgmental religious hypocrites in the harshest terms possible.

The difference between me and people like you and her is that when I sin I know what I have done and don’t try to excuse it. So you really think the “Prince of Peace” and all love would support the killing of his own species just because he didn’t specifically mention it? You kid yourself terribly and the falsehood of liberalism has led you to a dark, dark place.
jasperjava October 3rd, 2015 at 12:44
Oh, there’s sin and evil in the world all right, most of which is committed by selfish, heartless, hateful, bigoted conservatives with no love in their hearts.
Discrimination, denying healthcare, income inequality, racial and religious exclusion, warmongering, refusing to help immigrants and refugees, violence against women, economic hoarding and selfishness, the list of conservative sins is endless.

“the recent shooting in Oregon would be looked at as a beautiful happening.”
Liberals universally reacted with shock and horror, while two leading Republican presidential candidates essentially said “$#!t happens”.
You may want to rethink your ignorant bigoted theory.

“The difference between me and people like you and her is that when I sin I know what I have done and don’t try to excuse it.”
How in the F*CK do you know how anybody you haven’t personally seen do wrong reacts to their actions? How in the F*CK do you know that someone you don’t personally have any physical contact with has no clue if they have done something wrong? How in the F*CK can you know that this person you don’t know, whose internal dialogue you aren’t privy to, for whose actions you are not an observer, will excuse themselves?
Prince of Peace? Isn’t he part of that Gawd that told people to dash babies against the rocks to kill them, kill pregnant women and rip the babies out of their womb and kill them, and then go on to gratuitously slaughter all their livestock? You know… Genocide? That bible that is the sum-total of your info about both Father and Son, it says quite explicitly that Gawd WANTS members of the human race slaughtered. Wasn’t it the Prince of Peace the guy under whose name the Crusades murdered 100s of thousands of people, Christian, Jew, and Muslim? Yeah, it sure seems like the bible says Gawd (even a 3-faced Gawd) is down with killing… and babies and fetuses.
Liberalism doesn’t believe what you claim except in your own little projector. Evil is not quantifiable, nor is sin, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t liberals who believe in both concepts (ever heard of “liberal” Christians?) It also doesn’t mean that not agreeing with you on sin and evil inevitably results in pleasure at mass murder. And not sure how political philosophy in any way changes levels of illumination — “liberalism has led you to a dark, dark place.” You know, and feel free to prove me wrong, but I am pretty sure that, say… the ACLU actually has electric lights.

Yeah right after former VP Cheney is dispatched straight to hell for the misery and death he inflicted on tens of thousands of innocent people for weapons that did not exist

damn, god’s the biggest baddest killer of them all – he would adulate her for being a caring and hopeful person or, being the evil bastard the xians see him as, he’d kill her because of competition. and……….. trying to respond to idiots is not ez.
bpollen October 3rd, 2015 at 06:50
That’s funny. You won’t be there, of course.
Anywhere between 8 and 20% of pregnancies result in a miscarriage. If your unproven Gawd exists, that means that your GAWD is an abortionist.. and the WORST ONE OF ALL! In the US alone in 2014, almost 4 million babies were born. That means that, in 2014, your GAWD aborted up to 800,000 babies in the US ALONE. Worldwide, based on ~130,000,000 births per year, GAWD aborts in the vicinity of 26 MILLION BABIES PER YEAR!
Hey, he’s omnipotent, and omniscient, so according to Christian theology, he’s personally responsible for millions of dead babies per year. And knows how many he’s going to kill in advance. And, unlike this lady, GAWD doesn’t ask the women if they WANT an abortion.
Robert Smithson October 3rd, 2015 at 09:44
Once again you ignore the natural order to justify the intrinsic evil that is abortion, a procedure done by man because of pure selfishness.
bpollen October 4th, 2015 at 01:24
Natural order? Please, show me this “natural order” Under what field of science was this putative “natural order” belong? Are there studies, empirical evidence, anything even remotely like that?
Of course there isn’t anything tangible about it. “Natural order” is a philosophical concept. A way of looking at things. And you should be very aware that there are people who don’t look at things the same way you do. I think that “evil” is a totally human construct and has no objective existence. It’s not quantifiable.
You argument could be put thusly: you ignore my way of looking at things to justify doing things that have a totally subjective negative value to me. Hardly a killer response or premise… and it seems to totally revolve around what YOU think. Billions and billions of people go about their day making decisions without giving two shites what you think about it.
whatthe46 October 4th, 2015 at 01:33
how many abortions have your god committed? since you want to invoke “natural order.” isn’t it his natural order? are you calling him evil? aren’t you calling your god selfish?
Robert Smithson October 3rd, 2015 at 11:45
You are trying to give moral equivalence to something that happens organically to man as a result of being on this earth and in these bodies with a deliberate act of destruction. In your mind then there can be no difference between the person who accidently drowns and the person who is shot dead by another, right? Liberalism means there is no evil, no sin, and therefore everything is acceptable.
bpollen October 4th, 2015 at 01:06
Then you are saying what? There is no Gawd? That there IS a GAWD but he is totally impotent? That Gawd KNOWS these fetuses are going to die, but chooses inaction? That Gawd is all powerful and can choose who lives and who dies (Great Flood, Sodom and 3 sister cities, command to commit genocide against Canaanites…) and is concerned about your religion and bed-mates, but fetuses don’t rate as high as punishing America for not being cruel enough to teh gayz?
Either there is a Gawd that the bible hypes, or there isn’t. If there is, then he IS the biggest abortionist. According to Christian theology, Gawd created the world, nature, humanity, the laws of nature, and ” Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.”
The bible SAYS nothing happens unless it is Gawd’s will. That ALSO means that abortionists can’t perform abortions unless it is Gawd’s will.
