Texas Man Arrested After Falsely Claiming #BlackLivesMatter Supporters Vandalized His Truck

Last week, Scott Lattin reported that vandals had defaced his truck with messages reading “Black Lives Matter” and “F*ck the police,” apparently because he had placed a sticker on his car that proclaimed, “Police Lives Matter” as a show of support for Deputy Darren Goforth, who was shot and killed at a gas station in August.

Lattin even set up a page online to raise money for repairing his truck. He was able to get about $6,000 in donations, which he may now need to pay his legal bills.

You see, Scott Lattin was arrested Friday afternoon at his home in Whitney, Texas, and charged with making a false report. The arrest warrant also states that Lattin admitted to damaging the truck for “insurance reasons.”…READ MORE at LiberalAmerica
