Florida Congressman and Senate candidate Alan Grayson appeared on radio to talk about increasing Social Security benefits and the Iran deal. He also addressed The Donald.

GRAYSON: People seem to feel the same love of Donald Trump as they feel when they go to a NASCAR race and look for a good crash. It’s the same phenomenon and the rubbernecking on the highway when you pass a five-car collision. That’s the appeal that Trump seems to offer people.

COLMES: Why do you think he’s getting 32% or somewhere thereabouts, plus Carson getting another 20% of the vote, putting the two of them with the majority of the Republican vote as of right now?

GRAYSON: Part of that is he’s giving the middle finger to everyone. Absolutely everyone. And it’s this testosterone engorged middle finger that he’s showing people. That’s part of it. I mean he’s saying what a lot of angry people would like to be saying to all of their friends. She’s ugly, he’s stupid, and so on and so forth.

    You can tell that the primary season has not reached a serious point yet. Trump is still leading .
