Pic Pick: Officer With Man Who Tried To Stab Him

This cop is pictured with a man who tried to stab him last year.

Officer JD Boyd from Raleigh posted a photo on Facebook after running into a man who nearly killed him last year. The two men are pictured standing with their arms around each other, smiling.

“Almost a year ago this man and I were involved in a major altercation where he tried to stab me in the head and I nearly shot him,” Boyd wrote in the post. “Today we ran into each other again.”

Boyd learned that the former suspect left prison and now has a full-time job, plus another child on the way.

“I was glad it ended well for us both that day and I am ecstatic now to learn that he has turned his life around and we can embrace as friends,” he wrote.
