Oathkeepers Vow To Protect Kim Davis With ‘Boots On The Ground’

Posted by | September 11, 2015 07:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Religion

Just what we need: Militia with guns to protect a religious nut.

In a teleconference uploaded to YouTube, Oath Keeper founder Stewart Rhodes discussed the operation with Kentucky sheriff Denny Peyman, Missouri Oath Keeper John Karriman, and West Virginia Oath Keeper Allen Landieri. The group claimed that their new mission had nothing to do with same-sex marriage and insisted they were only offering to guard Davis because the judge had acted illegally.

“People should consider her under our protection,” Rhodes says in the teleconference. “We’ll make sure that our people are keeping a close eye on the situation and we’re going have boots on the ground to keep watch regardless, because this judge needs to understand that he’s not going be able to just go grab this lady whenever he feels like it.”

Have I been out of the country for the last few weeks? Was there some threat against this clerk that I didn’t hear about? As with most paranoiacs, they invent a threat in their fevered minds, and that’s the only place it exists. The only thing they’re likely to do is shoot their own foot.

      SOS you didn’t miss much

A phony reaction to a phony claim is what they want. It provides a reason to show how dedicated strong and faithful they are, or think they are. It gets media attention and could recruit a few new dues paying members as well.

Time to round these terrorists up!

Kim Davis is right in refusing to issue any marriage licenses, but for all the wrong reasons.

      lol

      • BigDumbWhiteGuy September 11th, 2015 at 09:00

        No, seriously.

        • Suzanne McFly September 11th, 2015 at 09:19

          You don’t like relationships?

          • BigDumbWhiteGuy September 11th, 2015 at 09:36

I love relationships, but KY has not passed legislation that includes same-sex couples in the definition of marriage.

            • Larry Schmitt September 11th, 2015 at 12:24

It doesn’t matter. The Supreme Court ruled that all states must issue same-sex licenses, and must recognize licenses issued by other states. A state’s definition of marriage doesn’t matter anymore.

Federal law trumps Kentucky law. Period. That is in the Constitution.

I hope they accidentally shoot each other.

    • Suzanne McFly September 11th, 2015 at 08:57

      That never gets old.

  5. Mike September 11th, 2015 at 08:43

Now I’m actually hoping she screws up and the judge sends her back to the pokey…this should be interesting.

would be funny if the Feds actually took them at their threats (sigh! -again -to overthrow the Government of the United States of America by force of arms if they ain’t petted and pampered enough) and were prepared for all out firefight and arrest. Don’t matter much though. Some folks in that part of the country that feel threatened by these lawless WHITE RACIST TERRORIST might just up and take the first shots.

      • Mike September 11th, 2015 at 19:59

Actually, they’re all so old and crotchety (feds, OK’s, Kyer’s) they’d have trouble hittin the side of a barn…only people that would get hurt would be innocent by standers or journalists trying to get a story.

  6. OldLefty September 11th, 2015 at 08:48

Wonder if these guys ever bother to look at a copy of the Constitution?

    • CandideThirtythree September 11th, 2015 at 13:56

      • Bunya September 11th, 2015 at 14:45

No repercussions after the Cliven Bundy fiasco where they threatened BLM agents at gunpoint. Why not try for a Federal Marshall serving a warrant on Kim Davis? Hey just go straight for the judge. These guys are nothing more than out of control insurrectionists. Thanks to the NRA they are extremely well armed insurrectionists.

We see what they tried to do to the Blacks in Ferguson but since she is White they may truly try to help her! F*cking bastards!

  10. William September 11th, 2015 at 11:20

So the oath keepers and their AR-15’s are going to protect the trailer park drama queen from the evil Gub-mint’ eh?
    That’s so cute

    • Stan Ubeki September 11th, 2015 at 12:30

Its the sonic crowd control stuff that I want to see demonstrated. I want to see them writhing on the ground shitting their pants while the Federal Marshall picks them up and hauls them off.

  11. Stan Ubeki September 11th, 2015 at 12:25

These people are a more serious and immediate threat to the US than is ISIS or Iran. The feds have backed down from them several times. They are the ones backing up Cliven Bundy, remember the photo of the sniper on the bridge? They also were the outside agitators in Ferguson. They intimidated police with snipers on buildings. Contact your congressional rep and ask what they plan to do about the Oath Keepers.

Found this on another thread about the Oaf Keepers, “businesses” training couch warriors in war and gunz and other games…
Only a matter of time until rage induced firefires erupt at their “war zones”.

Bring your boots, but leave your brains at home. You won’t need ’em.
