Huck Won’t Support Religious Freedom For Muslim Flight Attendant
It’s one thing when a Christian clerk wants “religious freedom” to deny gay marriage, but when a Muslim flight attendant wants freedom to not serve alcohol, that’s a different story, as Anomaly writes at FreakOutNation.
…things got sticky when CNN’s Alisyn Camerota asked Huck about the case of Charee Stanley, a Muslim flight attendant who refused to serve alcohol during an Express Jet flight, who is now fighting to get her job back.
Stanley, who converted to the Islam faith two years ago, said it violated her religious beliefs.
Huckabee responded by saying, “Historically we have made accommodations for people with religious convictions.”
We saw this coming.
“You’ve seen it in Michigan where they spent $25,000 providing foot baths for Muslims students,” he said, adding that the U.S. gave prayer mats to prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay prison, according to Talking Points Memo.
Once again Camerota asked Huckabee if he supports Stanley’s refusal to serve alcohol, to which he responded, “I think people try to make accommodations wherever they can.”
“Sometimes maybe it can’t be done, but in this case there was no attempt to make an accommodation to Kim Davis,” he added.
We await the rallies featuring Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz in support of the Muslim flight attendant who refuses to do her job — just like Kim Davis. We await the ‘Charee Stanley for President’ signs, and the chants of persecution.

The “foot baths” are a classic red herring thrown out there by Huckafuck…it was a university decision based on safety (they were washing their feet in the sinks and water got on the floors) the money came from private sources, not the government.
All prisoners are granted the text of their choice and the right to pray…Muslims just need a mat to pray, it is placed between the ground and the worshiper for cleanliness. The prayer rug has a very strong symbolic meaning and traditionally taken care of in a holy manner, just like a cross has meaning to Christians (and Christian prisoners are allowed to pray to a cross or have one in their cell…paper or facsimile) They also must know in which direction they are praying i.e. if in solitary they must be shown the direction of Mecca.
More lies from the lying-est POS Fuckahuckster in the country.

There you go, throwing facts into the mix again. When will you learn?
The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:20
He already learned. That is how he got the facts. Right Winger’s Nut Cases don’t ever learn. I learned because I still believe in Hilary.

Who gives a F**K what this child molester defending piece of S**T has to say?
granpa.usthai September 10th, 2015 at 17:34
does seem to be a perfect waste of life to be concerned about the Huckster’s prefered name of a ‘supreme being’ – no doubt he’ll start seeing his ‘god’ in the form of other peoples.

I think it is pretty clear that these right wingers are seeking a preferred place in the law for their beliefs which they are unwilling to extend to people who do not subscribe to Judeo-Christian religions.
One can only hope that one day, Kim Davis moves to another location requiring her to register to vote at her new address, and the registrar kindly informs her that due to his strongly held religious beliefs that women should not be involved in politics, he cannot register her to vote.
I would pay money to watch that unfold.

We’ll only have to wait for her next divorce (which should be in a month or two) for a clerk to refuse to file the paperwork citing her case as precedent…:)
Wouldn’t that be a riot..??
whatthe46 September 9th, 2015 at 20:20
or, having a judge like the one in Tenn. who refuses to allow her to divorce because the gay and because the bible.

Fckabee’s religious freedom fanaticism is solely for right wing Christians and quickly goes out the window for others particularly for Muslims.
He’s such a phony Christian and person.
allison1050 September 9th, 2015 at 20:11
Don’t ever forget that the newest thing for them is that they’re convincing themselves that they’re “persecuted”. :o)
Larry Schmitt September 9th, 2015 at 21:00
Meanwhile they search for the latest martyr in the “War on Christianity.”
The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:17
Yup, And so were the Mormons.
Larry Schmitt September 9th, 2015 at 20:59
It would be so refreshing if they were at least honest enough to admit that. But I like breathing too much, so don’t expect me to stop while I wait.
CandideThirtythree September 9th, 2015 at 21:45
They just can’t help themselves
The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:16
That’s right and that is why they need your money.
Tommie September 9th, 2015 at 22:56
So scared of Muslims they will not support their “religious” freedoms, not surprised!
Larry Schmitt September 10th, 2015 at 07:29
Simple. Wrong god, wrong religion.

The Lawful Evil side of me says that Hucksterboy should get a +2 Axe of Self-Realization midway through his face.
The Lawful Neutral side of me says that He should be allowed to live, albeit only amongst those that think like he does, letting the problem of his hypocrisy sort itself out through exposure to itself.
The Lawful Good side of me,oddly, agrees with the Lawful Evil side.
So does the part of me that doesn’t live in the world of D&D.
Sorry to offend…I cannot be nice when it comes to this vile bag of self-serving excrement.
Larry Schmitt September 10th, 2015 at 07:30
It must be like WWE inside your head.
Hirightnow September 10th, 2015 at 11:48
No…there aren’t any chairs.
The Original Just Me September 9th, 2015 at 23:15
Why do the words, ” two faced Hypocrite ” keep popping into my head ?
Larry Schmitt September 10th, 2015 at 07:28
I’ll take “Quick Definitions of Right Wing Christians” for $1000, Alex.
The Original Just Me September 10th, 2015 at 09:34
Congratulations, you have just won a brand new free Gideon’s Bible lifted from a motel as your grand prize.
Larry Schmitt September 10th, 2015 at 09:40
Can I have what’s behind door number 3 instead, Monty?
The Original Just Me September 10th, 2015 at 09:45
Just as soon as Monty is through with her, yes, you can.
Hirightnow September 10th, 2015 at 11:51
But what does Jay have in the box?
Larry Schmitt September 10th, 2015 at 13:06
Jay was the announcer, it was Carol Merrill who showed the goods.
The Original Just Me September 11th, 2015 at 06:59
Who’s box ?
Cat L September 10th, 2015 at 12:55
But it makes good toilet paper!
BrokenMonkey September 10th, 2015 at 14:44
Those pages are silky smooth.
rg9rts September 10th, 2015 at 05:01
B B B But its the wrong god
Larry Schmitt September 10th, 2015 at 07:26
Exactly. That’s what they all neglect to say, but it’s what they’re all thinking. They’re just not honest enough to admit it. “Religious Freedom” is actually “Religious Freedom for Christians. And Only Extreme Right Wing Christians.”
rg9rts September 10th, 2015 at 07:30
Who tithe to the PTP(Patriotic Tea Party)
Cat L September 10th, 2015 at 12:54
She has the wrong god and the wrong skin color to matter to the Huckster.
wingr47 September 10th, 2015 at 10:45
Has a Conservative Version of the Bible been printed? Leaving out everything but the hateful parts? Pity is those who have actually read the book know the crap pols spew is NOT there yet They support the idiots anyway. Another case of, “Well if it ain’t in the Bible IT SHOULD BE!!!”.
William September 10th, 2015 at 11:06
..and this grit fed idiot actually wonders why he polls somewhere between chlamydia and Justin Bieber.
bpollen September 10th, 2015 at 16:14
Trump – Chlamydia – 2016!
granpa.usthai September 10th, 2015 at 17:36
that’s OK, he doesn’t have to – there are a growing number of groups that know how to blast their prefered ‘god’ to the front pages also.
Thelma Rufe September 10th, 2015 at 21:54
So if I move to a different country and want to live and work there I should expect that I can complain enough about not having my AMERICAN religious or any other rights respected and that country will make new laws to accommodate ME? LOL..I bet NOT!
whoman69 September 11th, 2015 at 18:03
No accommodation made for Kim Davis? She wouldn’t let her assistants do it for her even though they volunteered. Huckabee has no idea what religious freedom means. Its not enforcing your religious beliefs on everyone.
