A Jacksonville, Florida dentist has been accused of unnecessarily pulling children’s teeth while also ripping off Medicaid for millions of dollars.
Dr. Howard Schneider was recently served with 58 notices of intent to sue by former patients who say the dentist performed unwanted and unneeded dental procedures on their children.
The Florida Attorney General’s Office has opened a Medicaid fraud investigation into claims that date back for decades.
The lawsuits and investigations were launched shortly after Brandi Motley posted a photo on Facebook of her 6-year-old daughter and accusing Dr. Schneider of pulling seven teeth from the girl’s mouth after he ordered the mother from the examination room. As Ms. Motley recalled:
The nurse suggested that it’s best, that kids act better when parents aren’t in the room, so they said, ‘We don’t like parents back here for the procedures….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica

This is when you push past whomever you have to, grab your child, and run like hell.

How did he do this for decades? If you google this db and read yelp reviews, there are people who dealt with him 10 years ago and they claim he was doing the same things.

There are times, when it IS worth it to go to jail. Just saying.

Fitting punishment would be to pull all his teeth before sending him to prison for a long, long time.

My family has had more problems with dentists than with every other medical provider put together. Bluntly a lot of them are jerks. arrogant pricks besides. More greedy practitioners in that profession than any other, IMO.

Our Illinois governor cheated Medicare out of 13 million dollars and didn’t go to jail. Buit at least they made him pay it back.

One filled my child’s teeth to rip off the insurance company. He told me she had 2 tiny little cavities that I could not see, then he showed me an X-Ray that I was pretty sure was not my daughter’s but instead of listening to my instincts I let him fill them.
She came out with the whole top of 2 teeth completely filled, not to tiny spots like he claimed. He said she had more cavities in other teeth and I should bring her back…but I didn’t and she never had any cavities, still hasn’t and she is almost 40.
So it isn’t just a medicare scam, it is an insurance scam too.
