Report: ISIS Boss Baghdadi Used US Hostage As Sex Slave

Posted by | August 15, 2015 16:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly War & Peace

Meet Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of ISIS and all-around monster.

Before her death earlier this year, American hostage Kayla Mueller was repeatedly raped by the top leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, according to counter-terrorism officials.

Mueller’s family confirmed to ABC News that government officials have told them that their daughter, who would have turned 27 today, was the victim of repeated sexual assaults by al-Baghdadi.

“We were told Kayla was tortured, that she was the property of al-Baghdadi. We were told that in June by the government,” Kayla’s parents, Carl and Marsha Mueller, told ABC News today.

Yes, this is the sort of story that is engineered to generate popular sentiment for stepping up a unilateral military “solution,” which – given the de facto status within the Syria-Iraq region of the US as a rogue state, – would probably be even less successful than the entire Iraq mess.

And while the possibility is unlikely, it would do the entire planet good to have this criminal apprehended and tried for his crimes against humanity.

A rare case in which I would wholeheartedly approve of extraordinary rendition

Kayla was a brave woman, she placed the safety of her two friends lives before her own.

Mueller was held with three other women, all Yazidis, the Muellers were told. All were sexually abused. When al-Baghdadi visited, he would take Mueller to his room, the witness told American officials. She would tell her fellow captives — sometimes tearfully — what had happened.

“Kayla tried to protect these young girls,” her mother said. “She was like a mother figure to them.”

When the teenaged Yazidi girl escaped with her sister, she asked Mueller to accompany her, the parents were told, but Kayla refused, worrying that her obvious Western appearance would lead to their capture.

By the time the Yadizi escapee reported the situation to Delta Force commandos in Iraq, Kayla had been moved, her parents were told.

As appalling as the thought is, I’m willing to be that sexual slavery of young women is used as a recruitment tool.

when the americans who have committed the greatest crimes against humanity – with definite proof – are charged and tried, maybe then it’s time to follow rumors.
